Viscount8 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 So I've been to Prague a few years back, and there was a fair amount of action there. I am thinking of going back. However, maybe see somewhere different. What do you guys think as the best spots in Eastern Europe now? I have been reading a lot about Athens and I think Wawrsaw has prospects there for cruising. Would anyone suggest Talinn, Bucharest, Serbia, Bulgaria or Slovakia? Quote

Members scott456 Posted January 14 Members Posted January 14 I was in Warsaw for a week in December as a side trip from Berlin. There were some offerings(for hire) on my Grindr apps, but not good quality enough for me. I think the A-list ones have all gone to western Europe, and probably the whole eastern Europe is about the same: a lot of offers, but lousy quality. Quote
jensplatta Posted January 14 Posted January 14 For Europe in general, nothing compares to Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and Berlin in terms of quantity, range of options and accessibility. Athens is reasonably hard work but cheaper. However, it can't be compared to the destinations above in terms of easy access and quantify. There is a thread here about Athens that will give you a very good idea. Also, sightseeing-wise and I know it is subjective, it is not the most attractive place other than the Acropolis area and Plaka. If you are feeling adventurous, I think Istanbul is worth trying maybe combined with one more traditional destination. Heba as-sa3udeya 1 Quote

Some of them did a bit of gay porn when they were starting out. Has anybody ever heard of straight porn actors working in Prague doing gay for pay escort work? Quote

From my (limited) personal experience and (very extensive) recommendations of my friends, some of them local, I'd say that Slovakia, Bulgaria and the Baltic States (Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius) are definitely not as vibrant as what you've experienced in Prague. I love Prague, go there regularly and know reasonably well what it can offer. Slovakia is extremely parochial with no talk about any scene per se (according to my Slovak friend). My visit to Bulgaria (Sofia) was some years ago (about 7-9 years ago) and I very much hope something has changed there since. I've heard good reports about former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, etc) but I don't have personal experience with them. My guess is, that the two top Eastern European destinations - i.e. Prague and Budapest - retain their leading position and cannot be rivalled by anyone in the region. If I were you, having had some good experience of Prague, I'd book a trip to Budapest. Best of luck and do share your trip report and thoughts when you are back from your frolicks! Quote

Budapest is meh compared to Prague. Athens is great and highly underrated. dscrtsldnbi 1 Quote
