I applied for my visa to travel to Brazil on the weekend of March 16th and it was approved around noon on Monday, March 18th.  Based on this thread though it sounds like I may or may not get to actually use it when I travel to RJ in mid-April.

In other (somewhat related) news, a friend of mine from Brazil applied for a tourist visa to travel to the United States in 2022 and it was approved in late-2023.  He made the trek here earlier this year.  Apparently, the food is too spicy and everything is more expensive than he thinks it should be (other than Apple products which are less expensive for some reason) but he is a fan and is planning a return trip in June.  He wants to go to Vegas.  If you are wondering, yes, he has been known to fuck tourists in exchange reais but - being the intelligent young man that he is - he left that off his application and instead provided documentation concerning his job selling insurance.  During the interview, he also apparently stated that he wanted to travel to the United States for futevôlei tournaments.  In any case, it’s nice to have Brazil visit me and Vegas can be fun in very small doses.

So, I spent a few days in Vegas with my friend from Brazil earlier this month and now have a question for the esteemed members of this board.

Background: Friend is a gorgeous 28 year old from RJ that speaks English decently but since his vocabulary comes mainly from listing to American music there still are some issues.  Friend has been known to fuck tourists in exchange for reais but says he is not doing that here and I believe him.

In order to experience America fully, friend used Grindr to meet people he found attractive in Vegas and elsewhere in America (full disclosure, his taste skews heavily toward tall white men) and told me he had the following experiences all inside of about a two week period:

1. Met a guy at a hotel who after they were both naked spent most of his time and energy massaging Friend’s feet and rubbing his dick against Friend’s feet.  Friend did not like this and made an excuse to leave.

2. Met a local guy at his house who was “hot and a good bottom” but apparently asked Friend if he could watch him pee after they were done having sex.  Friend did not like this and blocked the guy after he left the house even though the sex was good and the guy politely walked away after Friend said no to his request to watch.

3. Met a tall blond hair blue eyed insanely attractive guy at a hotel.  After walking into the suite, his Grindr date introduced him to “surprise” a 60-something year old out of shape white guy that wanted to watch them fuck.  Since Grindr date was apparently one of the most attractive guys Friend has ever met, Friend went through with the encounter and let the old guy watch.  If you are wondering, yes, this happened in Vegas.  The suite was in the Wynn to be specific.

Friend uses Grindr in RJ and swears that nothing like these incidents has ever happened (or ever will) to him in Brazil.  Is America really that much more kinky than Brazil?  If so, why?  If anything, I would have expected the opposite.  Brazil has always seemed to be relaxed about sex for the most part and America, well, as discussed in other threads, I’m still astounded that America somehow leads the world in handing out PrEP free of charge so that gay boys can safely exchange bodily fluids with each other.

Do you think that what happens in Vegas is representative of what happens in the US? Perhaps it is, like in a concentrate.

Anyways, as a South American, I do find Americans kinkier than us. I always thought it was related to Puritanism and one of its by products, the inability to enjoy sex as a natural, positive interaction.

EDIT: perhaps we should go to another thread to discuss this topic.

The mistake was thinking guys met on grindr are representative of the gay / available community in the USA.  They're not.  And, yes, this is a discussion for a different forum.

Needs more back story to know how believable/feasible that is.....

Some combination of he is getting older and doesn’t want/need to do it anymore.  He is actually the second Brazilian I know who has “retired” when he hit his late-20’s.  I believe him because his social media is much less suggestive than it used to be.  I also cannot think of a reason why he would want to mislead me about it which is the main reason I believe him.  In any case though, I only included that detail so that readers would know compensation was not a factor in his experiences.

Someone once told me, don't trust these guys...they're willing to suck cock for money, you don't know what they're capable of, I thought he was exaggerating....but over time, I've experienced and realized what he was talking about. Is kind of disappointing when it happens, but then I think of the old snake story.

This is the whole sex worker issue that I believe you and I agreed to disagree about previously.  You see it in black and white and, well, I don’t.  Last time you posted a scene from Sesame Street which I thought was quite clever as I recall.  In any case, I take Friend at his word because he is a friend.  I also believe him because while I never used IG to, um, supplement my income by fucking tourists in exchange for dollars I guess since I grew up in America, I did model when I was in school and the photographers - approximately 100% of whom were gay - expected to be able to touch me and watch me change clothes in front of them during the shoots which I allowed because it was expected and it didn’t really bother me all that much and it was an easy way to earn some extra money.  In any case though, I stopped doing that and don’t see why someone else couldn’t do the same.  I have also stayed in touch with one of the photographers and consider him to be a friend even though he is now very old and I am old.  We get together a few times per year and go out to dinner.

I am almost 62, with paying for sex experience since my 22 years old, and a slut. I tend to agree with you. However, out of all the many many hustlers and escorts I met throughout my life, there was one who retired and became a non paid sex partner for almost 20 years, my longest LTR we could say.

So, although I tend to agree with you, I also know that there are exceptional experiences. Perhaps this one is @Novarunner's.

No doubt there's exceptions to the rule....unfortunately, they are as rare as me having only a few and the 62 yr old whore coming up with 1 example  😝
