Members Popular Post Riobard Posted January 4 Members Popular Post Posted January 4 This should have been a memorable meal but was about the only somewhat of a letdown over a month. Yet among the most challenging to snag a table. Mind you it was early days, jet-lagged, and my body’s regular breakfast hour. Some of the textures and notes were off for me. Bland, and the beef seemed dry and flavourless. The dessert had a fermented component that I just did not take to, tasted borderline rancid. The renovation is very attractive. I emphasize that others should not go by my impression but might want to peruse food review sites prior to committal. I averaged about one “higher end” tasting-menu per week. It’s not my usual dining format and somewhat volume overload for one sitting given my usual nutrition consumption. However, no regrets about the other choices. I usually take a glass of champagne but no wine accompaniment. splinter1949, a-447, traveller123 and 3 others 4 2 Quote
