Guest rentalb123 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 As a quasi smoker, one who quits for about 11 months out of the year then goes on vacation and picks it up again, has to quit again, etc., etc., I appreciate the non smoking environment, it is just to easy for me to pick it up again, I do love it. It is also one of the reasons I am coming to Pattaya and not Mexico this year. Everything in Mexico is smoke filled and I have had enough, so much so to make a much longer trip...lol..... I do appreciate, from an outsiders perspective that Mark is engaging his clients and trying to make his place as pleasing to them as he can as an owner, this says a lot and I bet if all owners took such an approach it would result in some marked improvements. That being said I will definitely be visiting KD now, if for no other reason than to say thank you for his efforts. Quote

But please keep those nice oversize floppy shorts and table dancing. It's one of the bar's unique selling points. Quote
Guest laurence Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Obviously everybody, including you, knows exactly what it means. You wish to nitpick about it. Go right ahead, but I have an idea that the majority of people reading this are thinking the same thing I am, which is: Who the hell cares? Sorry GB, I did not realize, at first, that it was you who prepared the poll. If I had I would not have made my remark about the phraseology being "awkward". After all you have made it abundantly clear that words mean what you want them to mean, neither more no less. Sorry Mark, for having sidetracked your post regarding smoking. Great to hear of your non-smoking policy or is it smoking policy? Quote
Gaybutton Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Sorry GB, I did not realize, at first, that it was you who prepared the poll. If I had I would not have made my remark about the phraseology being "awkward". I'm not concerned over whether you think my phraseology is awkward for a very simple reason. It isn't awkward. This thread is supposed to be about whether Mark should or should not permit smoking inside his bar, not a thread nitpicking over word choices. Anything awkward about that? Quote
Guest laurence Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Anything awkward about that? Sorry GB, don't get your tits caught in the wringer over a word. Quote
Gaybutton Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Sorry GB, don't get your tits caught in the wringer over a word. Well then, in what should I get them caught? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Well then, in what should I get them caught? I believe modern English usage does permit "What should I get them caught in?" Quote
Gaybutton Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I believe modern English usage does permit "What should I get them caught in?" I used the standard by which we were all taught. I wanted to make certain you would not be confused . . . Quote
