Help with gay tour of Bangkok.

Recommended Posts

Hi there. I was wondering since we are going to be newbies here in Thailand, we would like to know if they have a gay tours of the city , nightlife with like minded people. Havent seen anything in Viator. They do in Puerto vallarta and some places in Europe. Any recommendations?

I'd think a professional guide would be helpful in introducing you to the bars, saunas and some historical sites.

As for the massage shops, these are more straight forward and can be explored on your own. Much has been written about them on the forum.

Good luck!

Yeah, I am sure you were a virgin when you were 3 years old.Yeah, I am sure you were a virgin when you were 3 years old.  The saddest thing would be a 50 years old virgin.

some of the more generous "like minded" members of this forum might be around to show you the ropes. There's a lot of good advice in the forum about gogos and other venues. But it will take you some time to read through. Maybe Mack's blog would be helpful? But I think these sorts of venues are generally fairly similar everywhere. So if you have experience in other places you should find the scene in Thailand to be pretty straightforward

If my understanding of one of the, or the principal promoter of that site which is linked is accurate ... it would be the very last service I would be inclined to patronize.

I agree, but some of the guides, such as Mac, are good, and can do with the business.

A gay guide is not really needed for the bar/club scene.  Most of the venues are very close together and the staff are friendly/accomodating and speak English.   However, Tripadvisor does have a "tour" using Viator that is posted along with SiamRoads but these are private as again, most groups do not need a tour since you will not be out of place just bumbling from place to place.  Enjoy!
