Tips and recommendations for first time goer in Thai Gay club and gogo bar

Hi! 

I'm planning on going solo to BKK i next month. I've been thinking on going to BKK gay redlight districts to have some fun during my short visit. Do ypu have any recommended bar or place to start with? I dont speak thai, is it gping to be issue if I'm planning to go out with a bar boy. And Do you have an estimate how much does it cost to out for oth short term and long term?

The gay district is concentrate at small area in Patpong just walk and enter the bars you see , Most of the tourists don't speak Thai and it's not a problem most of the staff speaks basic English don't worry about it. To take a boy from the bar about 500 BHT , short time Min. 2000 BHT long term Min. 3000 BHT.

Hot Male beer bar on street level (just below Hot Male show bar on Patpong 2) would be good starting place (waiters are offable, btw).

Four other show bars stone’s throw away: Screw Boy, SOL’s, Fresh Boy and Dream Boy.

I heard some bars have explicit shows not just a strip tease. Is that true?

Yes. I was told that was a thing before. I'm not sure if it still a thing after pandemic.
