Mavica Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Cat got your tongue? 😊 What's your question? If you're wondering about the homicide rate in Colombia, the information can be found using the internet: Homicide rate in Latin America by country | Statista Colombia Murder/Homicide Rate 1990-2023 | MacroTrends Quote
12is12 Posted November 11, 2023 Author Posted November 11, 2023 The 2 sources r contradictory. My question voiced a surprise the C isnt among the top 5. Quote
Mavica Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Well, you don't provide the source you're relying on. Let's have a look at a link to that. A photo of a graphic? One of the links I provided has Colombia at #5 and the other provides statistics one could consider making the same claim. In what context are you asking? Are you concerned about safety there? Quote
12is12 Posted November 11, 2023 Author Posted November 11, 2023 I stand corrected. The source is VERY reliable: The Economist. Not concerned; visited 4 times, and intend to return. Just surprised and curious. Mavica and Marc in Calif 2 Quote
maump Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 I question the statistics in many countries. Even in USA, many serious crimes (like police homicides) do not get reported correctly. In Bogota, when I was mugged the police were unwilling to file a report and the website the country established to submit reports was a dead link. Quote
