DenverDude Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Have any of you purchased Doxycycline in Bangkok? If so, is there a reputable pharmacy you recommend and is it a straight forward process (just walk in and tell them what you want)? Thanks in advance! Quote

You can purchase that antibiotic from most pharmacies without a prescription....Go to the local ones versus the chains and you shouldn't have any problems... If one won't let you get it, go to another one.... Please treat whatever you had so you arent spreading it around.... vinapu 1 Quote
kokopelli3 Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Basically you can purchase it at any pharmacy at a small cost and no questions asked. DenverDude 1 Quote

It’s not only used to treat them. FYI: https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2023/02/424861/doxycycline-sti-prevention-highly-effective-minimal-drug-resistance DenverDude 1 Quote
Marc K Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 To me the answer is very simple: If you need the money or your health is bad, take your pension as soon as you can. If you don't need the money today, put it off as long as you can on the chance that you will live into your 80s or longer. Then you'll be glad you didn't tap it earlier as the amount will be substantially more and every COLA increase after that will be based on the higher amount. Mavica and DenverDude 2 Quote

Normally true, except if your governor in USA freezes all COLA increases for State Workers as was done by Governor Chris Christie in NJ. Yes, Chris Christie who is running for President.
