One of BBB boys I asked told me that they are free to remove tops and still only 3 used that freedom. I'm with you that I don't see any attractiveness in paying to watch fully dressed guys but I'm not running that business Quote

Most guys are also not in a hurry to go home the next morning. Maybe it's just my luck this time. Lowlights - Banana bar just didn't tick any of my boxes this time. I'm not sure if its unusual but they only had four performers rotating the whole time I was there. People will take a peek by the door and will instantly walk off. - Fresh boys is always a lowlight for me but I always end up visiting at least once every trip. The lack of subtlety on the part of waiters and Mamasans when asking for tips and drinks can be irritating. I mean asking for tips/drinks within the first minute of conversation? - AirBnB: given its legal status in Thailand, I always second guess and brace myself everytime I bring a boy back. The apartment I rented have posted notices and banners saying that the building is strictly for residential use and not for short rental like air bnb. The notices were written in a way that the renters can get into trouble if they don't report this to building management. But again, this is Thailand. While I didn't have any issues during my previous stay, I'll stick to the usual tried and tested Silom hotels next time. - Jupiter: as advised, I will try to ignore the ice cold standoffish behaviour of the guys next time. I might be in for a surprise. - Dreamboys is a mixed bag for me. While their new place is a definite improvement, both my visits didn't result to an off. Not crossing this off my list and will give it a try next time. Compared from my visit last year, things are really looking very positive. There seems to be no remnants of the pandemic and Silom / Surawong area is bustling with most establishments back to operating till late night / early morning. Overall, this 12 day experience have been pleasant with no major dramatics with any of my off. Fingers crossed it will be like this next time. From experience, masseurs prefer not to cum during a session in order not to jeopardize possible sessions that day. They may also charge extra if you ask them to. I've read on other forums and Google Map comments that people say it only offers legit massages without any extra services. Some even claim that touching the masseur is not allowed. But it sounds like that wasn't the case for you. Did you negotiate with the masseur directly in the room, or with the administrator through messenger when you booked? Quote

I agree with your statement as repeat business is better for both sides. Each one knows already what to expect and what is expected. Usually subsequent meets are much better than initial one but there are exceptions to watch. Some guys are getting too comfortable and lazy unfortunately. Others may tend to take an ownership of you when you visit their bar inviting themselves immediately and asking for drink. Way I try to keep them on shorter leash if sense that is I tell them I'll be offing them again tonight but will be sitting and drinking with somebody else - kind of what you did at Freshboys Guess I'll add on to to this since I am one of the ones who regularly gets these "bottle service"... I tend to travel to Bangkok with a bunch of other friends from other countries. So there are multiple of us. It's actually more cost effective for us to get a bottle rather than for each of us to get our own drink. Of course, each club has their own policy. For example, each person would have to pay 550/600 Baht per entry at Dreamboys. That would amount to about 2400baht for 4 people. Opening a bottle at Dreamboys would cost me 2500 Baht (Sangsom) but that grants me 4/5 free entries. Mixers however are not free and are charged at 100Baht per bottle/can. But then the boy drinks are free. (Not entirely sure if that's their policy or if it's because I'm a regular there). The bottle can last us quite awhile rather than nursing that 1 drink for the whole time we're there and especially if we are getting a 2nd drink, then getting the bottle would 100% be more cost efficient. Most bars will offer either free mixers or free limited amount of mixers (e.g. 5 cans per bottle opened). Most bars, the boy drinks will be free if you opened a bottle. But each bar has their own rules. Moonlight is very strict about having to buy their boys drinks even if you have your own bottle. (My friend was charged a boy drink even though they took the boy as the bar was closing and no drink was given) If you don't finish your alcohol, you tell the bar to keep the alcohol for you. You'll be given a card in exchange for the bottle. Just return next time with the card for them to retrieve your bottle. Do note that there is a duration that they would keep your bottle for. Once it goes over the "expiry date" the staff then sometimes help themselves to the "free" alcohol. Upon return, most clubs charge a 500 per person fee. If 3 of you show up, you'll be charged 1500 unless you choose to open a new bottle on the day itself on top of the one that you have. For some clubs, you have to tell them you will open a new bottle beforehand or else you'll get charged the 1500 plus the cost of the new bottle. But if you had told them upfront that you are opening a new bottle, you would only pay the cost of the new bottle. This happened to us in Freshboys. Regarding tips, you give what you like. It's not much different from when you bought them a drink. We tend to play games with our alcohol. Boys join in, tips are given every now and then. For boys who you are closer with, some may not expect tips, they may just want to drink with you. Of course nobody is going to say no to money should you offer them some. If a boy who you called to sit with you, drank with you the whole night, and you aren't taking him back to the hotel, I would say minimally 500 Baht as they gave away their opportunity of a customer to drink with you.
