Using Line app to find escorts

I read in forums about contacting escorts or massage guys using the Line app. I'm having trouble figuring out which part in Line you use and then what search terms are best. Any advice would be great. And this is from someone that works in IT. No social skills I suppose, which is what might be useful here.

I only use Line to contact guys who already gave me their Line contact, either QR code or their Line ID.

If guy is asking is I have  Line it's usually indicator he is interested in another meeting - ego booster for me. But there's one , I saw already at least 3 times who nover made the move even if i know for sure he has Line. I guess time to leave him alone.

A lot of places have Line QR on their websites, one can pick up that code  from website to have them on Line.

Line is primarily a messaging app. You need the other party to give you his contact ID. Line is not a dating app where you can trawl through listings.

I guess you mean that you meet someone in real life, and they you exchange Line ID to stay on contact on Line.

There are groups in Line where gay porn is posted, or rarely members post pictures of themselves. And gay saunas have Line groups where customers chat (in Thai). I have been following some of these groups and chatted up the one or other cute, but nothing more came out of it.

Gay massage places daily post pictures of who is available today. You can contact them and make a reservation for a particular masseur (I have never heard of sending money in advance to confirm your booking, anyway this is not my style, I only do spontaneous walk-in, based on pictures of masseurs who work there).

Is there a way to deactivate the line messages of the msg shops temporarily without deleting the contact? I like to receive them when I am in Thailand but can be frustrating to see all those sexy men when not in Thailand...

"Hide": you still receive messages from this particular contact, but LINE doesn't pop up notifications.  The messages are there, and you can read them whenever you want.

"Block": you won't receive any nessages from the contact, but the contact is still on your contact list.

"Block and delete":  you remove this contact and its chat history. You won't receive any new messages from the contact.

@gymman -- Line doesn't have Discovery feature. So, you'll first need to find the right contact to add, then use Line to message.

In terms of massage guys, here's some tips.

• Most gay massages use Line. You can search online for the good gay massage places, then see if they have Line Id or Thailand phone number (+66). Use that to search and add your Line contacts. From there, you can ask for boys photos. After that, you'll know what's next
• Alternatively, most of them are also on Twitter. So, you can also search for their Twitter pages which they usually also post Line ID or phone number there. But I find it's more effective to find the Twitter page of the place you like first, then look at similar businesses.
• To save you some times, you can try add these Line ID which is a few of my favorite places, if you like hunky men: @jey2spa, @ganymedespa.

I mute chats whose new messages I don't want to see in notifications. Open chat, three vertical bars at right upper corner, mute.

Those pictures of available boys can safe a lot of time. For some places, there is none whom I would like, others several. Before, I would have to go in person to find out.

Exactly Mac.
It is used throughout Asia for messaging. Most people here know LINE but not WhatsApp or Messenger.

Slightly off topic. Anyone have the Line ID for Arena. Tried their phone from their Facebook page but nothing. Found an older line id but no good. It's possible they don't have one. Wanting you research before I arrive as any good scout would do.

Would be a really good resource for the forum if we had a thread that kept everyone updated with the various bar/massage shop  Line IDs I'd be happy to contribute when I actually find some

I have these so far:

@apollo_massage for Apollo
@jey2spa for Jey Spa
Sabaidee Rama4 for Sabaidee

Even when you have found them and are chatting with them, if you long-click on their chat bubble you would think it would show you their details including their chat ID, but it doesn't always. Sometimes all you have is their display name. Hence that's all I have for Sabaidee.

that's advantage of the chase. You go and never sure whom you find. While some people are photogenic and look in pics better then in flesh there are those  who are other way around. Going all the  way to Kman or Jey Spa and see who is available is not a waste of time.

I tried hiding the contact. It stops the notifications but: From time to time I delete all the messages from the msg shops and as soon as I do that the notifications start again (but the contact is still hidden).

I was in Pattaya and BKK end of July & 1st week of August. I used Grindr. In both cities (plus a side trip to Siem Reap) within 5 minutes of signing on to the hotel's WiFi I had at least 15 messages from locals, MB and non-MB. The messages were persistent throughout my entire trip. I had no difficulty at all connecting with interested locals.

Yes, I have found Grindr good, in Bangkok, it's just that there is a lot of talk about Line, especially in relation to massage parlours!
