Anyone planning a Colombia Trip?

Inspired by a post by Dan below, I'm wondering if anyone is planning a trip, say this fall, and is interested in coordinating dates / accommodations, etc?

I'm a pretty independent traveller, but it might be fun to coordinate a visit, e.g. to rent a big place and host some banger parties with local guys. Could save money with shared accommodation, have greater security, and have a bigger choice of local talent by organizing some group fun.  

I'm pretty flexible on dates.

I am seriously considering going for a month or more in mid November.  flexible on dates.  may stay thru new year then head to asia....  or just stay in Colombia.  this would be my second trip.

I am going to Medellin January 3rd thru the 14th. Never been and quite excited to go. Been doing lots of research on sites to see and where to find the rentboys. Anyone have anything to add?

Nothing too exciting to report, 2023 Columbia trip. I booked a first class / business trip with American airlines from my regional airport through Philadelphia Miami directly to medellin. The cost was about $450 a really good buy I thought. You can get $99 flights out of Washington dc, no luggage with avianca. Other than the flight being a little delayed leaving Philadelphia and a panic at Miami because there was not much time, everything went great. I met my friend Jorge (25 yeo I was with 2 years ago) at the airport and spent 90,000 pesos on a DD carfare (4000peso to the dollar.  although here they OFTEN drop the extra 1000 and just say 90). I'm staying in LA Candelaria barrio Calle 38 near the infamous Plaza Botero. It's a25$/night Airbnb loft style studio new construction. It's okay, leaves something to be desired and the neighborhood maybe is a little rough at night. At least Jorge doesn't want to go out at night.

I went across the street and got a haircut, 15 pesos and I left a 10 peso tip for Eseus. I met another black man younger from Ontario. He is straight Colombian here to visit his name is Dre. I think after I told him I was gay he was a little less interested in hanging with me. But I'm not sure. He's in the same condo as I am right across the hall in 710.  We saw each other again, but it was hi, how are you doing.  he is hanging out with the barbers (all handsome black Colombians  i'm jealous.)

Today was full of unexpected activities and I usually don't do graphic descriptions, but...  My mind is full of the last event. I want more. .

Well, just to keep the thread going, not a lot of new info to share since st moritz.

I may visit Cali for the Sasla Festival between Christmas and New Year.

Any advice / tips?

@TomSmithTop  Brush up on your dance moves and learn the difference between salsa caleña and other forms. They take it very seriously.

There are free salsa classes in Parque del perro nightly during the festival starting around 6pm-ish (hora colombiana) the crowd will build during the evening. Its a very social atmosphere and you will get to meet locals and tourists.

The gay spots are almost all in barrio Grenada. Things start late in Cali with most clubs filling up after midnight.  The party spills out into the street, so just walking around the barrio will give you plenty of eye candy and cruising -- which seems to be a favourite pastime in Cali.  If you are really adventurous and love the club scene, the party moves to discotecas in barrio Manga or Carrera 66 after 2am when the Granada bars close.

As mentioned above, the saunas in centro will be busy as next week is largely a holiday for most working Colombians. Sauna Phisicus, Metropolis and Club Cali will be very busy -- go early to avoid a line up.
