Summer in Bangkok, another trip report this year

Day 8

When Kao left  I felt so happy and energized that decided I can’t leave things as they are.

Send Line to Y if he is available, answer come right away and with picture – sick in bed.

So I tried SK, only could leave message so I fell asleep, SK actually called me but I was sleeping soo deeply I did not even hear that. So I guess I was meant to sleep alone that very night.

Came for breakfast quite late and it was so full I had problem of finding space.

I apologized to SK for missing his message and offered him Mahankhon trip instead. He said he will be there in 1 hr. Then I got into touristy mood and asked him if he wants to go with me to see new tunnel leading to Grand Palace. Off we went, impressive place, most important there are toilets there.

Then I hired boat for 1.5 hr canals trip, SK gladly joined me . He is not shy type, even called his mom and show her naïve farang treating him to those forays. Quite clingy on the boat too. We returned to Silom civilization by the tourist boat.

 At 4.30 I went to Cofee Grinder to meet MA for latest news exchange, next step was dinner at G’Bangkok and it was dark already when I returned to my room.

 Asked Y if he feels better now, shrewd guy answered that he does and if I want he can come to my room tonight pointing that it’s his day off so I can save money on off fee. Deal.

 

 Day 9

 It seems I can’t have enough Y , after breakfast I asked him to return to the room  for some more intimacies. Can’t blame myself , I like him , both personality and build. I think he appreciates too fact that I engage him so often this trip. Of course I tipped him extra for that overtime.

Today MA moved to my hotel so we celebrated that fact by having coffee and bagel in restaurant in the lobby. And decided to go to Jey Spa to try our luck there. There were only 2 guys on duty, both suitable but mamasan said he will call one more  in a second and that was good move as new arrival happened to catch MA’s eye. I opted for guy nicked/named Guy, 100% gay by his won admission.

Handsome and knows his job but min tip 2500 . Not saying was not worth it but rather on high side.

Then I suggested pizza dinner at Madrid so MA and me went there . Madrid Tavern never disappoints.    

 In the evening I went to Patpong 2 hoping SA will be there but they told me he went to Cambodia to take his ailing brother there.  Then had  few drinks with MA and  boys at Hot Male beer bar. There’s new host,  named One there. Very nice young gentleman . But somehow I had hots for A at Moonlight so went there only to see him just being taken by customer. He apologetically said  “ I know you came here for Y” which was not accurate but what I could do if he was already taken ? So yes, knowing from yesterday that Y  will be available only till 2.30 am tonight I took him home anyways. I told you I seem not to have enough of him.

We found way to keep us occupied till that 2.30 , than he collected his ST tip and went to Bus Station to pick up his sister as he told me yesterday he will.

Day 10

 After Y left I slept well despite of cold bed. Last breakfast today at the hotel as I’m finally moving to Baan Silom. Nice lady who prepared my fried eggs every morning was nicely surprised with tip I left her.

In the room I packed then took tuk-tuk which took me to new digs for 100 baht. I left luggage there as they instructed me room will be ready in 1-2 hours ( it was still morning ) and went for a stroll. On corner of soi Tawan repaired my daypack for 70 baht then got a message from MA he is drinking cofeee at Silom 64 so marched there to join him for tea and latest news.

Then I took MRT  to Hualampong  just to check how it is now after most trains moved to Bang Sue or whatever elaborate name of new station is. Central platform  is kind of railway museum with exhibit of old stem engines but there are still some trains departing from there.

 There’s free shuttle bus connecting both stations but doesn’t seem to be too frequent, perhaps one per hour as for time I was surveying station , more than ½ hr it did not departed.

When I arrived in hotel room was already free so time for some laundry. Since I like to travel light I have habit that first thing to do in the room is do some washing.

In the afternoon we had thunderstorm, about time as it was so far quite dry for rainy season. At 7.30 dinner at G’Bangkok with MA , from there we went to Hot Male beer bar to have some drinks with boys there. I used that occasion to molest new boy One a bit more and of course force some tip on him for his troubles.

It was past 10 pm when I got Line message from SK that he just landed and is going straight to my hotel. He was escorting his ailing brother to Cambodia as doctors advised them his treatment will be cheaper there.  So waved good bye to gentlemen in the bar and went to hotel, not long after SK arrived. He was both sleepy and hungry and suggested that instead of restaurant he will go and buy something to eat for him at 7/11 across the street so I gave him 200 baht to do some shopping. Yes , upon return he gave me a change with receipt.

Food energized him quite a bit   so we had some exercises instead of talking politics in Mauritius.

Today MA and me have tourist program – visit  at GMMTV , producer of so many BL series headquarters in Ratachada. We went there by subway. There;s whole procedure before admission to gift shop on 30 something floor. We were told to leave passports  on reception before we could enter elevator.

Gift shop was mobbed by Asian girls so we both were bit out of place but they were [patiently waiting when we were browsing screens with memorial trinkets they offer for sale . At end of day nothing took our fancy but it was fun.

 Then we had coffee in Starbucks in the lobby , there were dozens of fans camping there hoping to catch the glimpse of one of their stars I guess.

 Then we parted ways. I went to Rama IX Central nearby on hunting mission. One of my most favorite guys of all times , M from Senso is hairdresser in one of shops there. I tried to spot him previously but did not succeed and neither I did today. Hope dies last though, it’s always next time !  

Upon return to the room and it was already 3 pm I was surprised it was not cleaned yet but I went to XOne to change some money and when I returned it was already tidied.

This afternoon I have meeting with guy I met by chance in one of previous trips who is not a guy from the scene. We talked occasionally from time to time . Last time we talked , one of us , I don’t remember who , suggested we should have dinner together one day . Today was the day. Kao is his name or at least it’s how he wants me to call him.

I did not have any expectancies but was very curious to see if something more than talk and meal together  comes out of it.

He arrived on the dot at 5 as agreed.  If this trip proved something it was that most boys are very punctual and  on time contrary to what some slanderous farangs may say.

To break the ice we went to place across hotel with some stalls and had some Lao craft beer there. When subject of something more substantial came he suggested meal in  Sizzler on Silom. I liked idea although I don’t usually dine there but few years ago had birthday meal at the place with two other boys in tow.

 Surprisingly he suggested we walk there, so much about Thai guys being reluctant to walk. Reason given was even more endearing ‘ we will have more time to talk” ( his English is good conversational although he admitted he speaks tongue but doesn’t write it). That was a good sign no doubt.

 He was visibly reluctant to order as prices there are quite high but I made it easy for him “ do you want that steak?” , ‘too expensive “ , ‘ ok, one for you , one for me “.

 But I liked fact that he was trying not to take advantage of being treated. Best part came when we were considering drinks ‘ I have a juice, we can buy some beers at 7/11 and  drink  it in your room “ .

Hearing it I thought I just have a stroke as it was something I was afraid even to dream about , him in my room , whoa !!!

Nasty surprise came when we went to settle  a bill. Not it’s size ( 2045 , not  a cheap place I told you ) but fact they don’t take  a cash. .

Normally I don’ use plastic when I travel unless not given a choice and in Thailand I don’t even carry cards with me , keeping them in safe box. I like cash. If Guardian Angel did not suggest I take wallet with me just in case I wouldn’t. If I did not it were so embarrassing.

I generally boycott places refusing to take cash and now I’m even more inclined to boycott them so likely it was my last visit at Sizzler Silom in this life for that very reason. Uff !

So we did as planned , stocked up on beer at 7/11 near hotel and went straight to the room.

 Yes,  we drank all that beer and had very nice conversation and yes, as evening was unfolding we slowly but surely  become bit more closer and closer  but that’s nobody’s business. From what I thought it will be sober and well behaved evening it turned out to be quite romantic and interesting one even if two things were excluded by Kao from the menu – kiss and long time.

  Not that he was in rush to go , I was trying to use fact that he drunk quite a bit to keep him here even pointing to the fact that there’s  bed in bedroom a but also sofa in the living room but he was firm “ I drive slowly and will sleep at home “.

 So around midnight I decided I let him go, I did not want him to get too drunk. We already agreed to met on another day this trip.

 It was one thing I  was not sure how to handle not to create any offense to such great guy. You got it – should I tip or not. I decided to abandon any pretense of diplomacy and asked straight away “ can I give you some money?” to get an answer “ of course”. So I did.

Long live Thailand where casual conversation may lead to such great afternoon and evening I thought when he closed door.

blend of string of lucky coincidences clearly steered from above and Foodland Patpong mysterious vibes.

Dates back to Januray trip. I was breakfasting with one of my boys when he gestured to somebody behind my back. Since nobody was standing there it was clearly to somebody who was passing by and did what I always do there - check who is sitting inside. Seconds ago another motion to very handsome guy , even from distance, who entered restaurant. So of course being soft hearted and always generous  when he approached I asked him to sit with us and order whatever he wants on my tab. It made him wide eyed but my boy said something , most likely ' relax,  he will pay" .

We did not talk much but it turned out he lives in the same place my boy's brother does. Whether roommate or just neighbour I don't know to this day.

By my company clearly he could gather I like boys and more inquiring mind would say , boys in the morning.

This probably would finish whole story if not a fact that coincidentally I met him on the street later that day and again day or two later. Not that sensational as he works shifts in the area but on another hand Silom and Suriwong are busy streets. Again , we did not talk much ,  wai and hallo on first occasion and farang style handshake , initiated by him, I remember that very well , on the second. It was then when I realized I have some interest in him. 

In May Guardian Angel went to action  again,  we met in passing on one of days, it turned out we remember each other quite  well and even  we had some small talk  and then he said something to effect " hope to see you soon".

So when we bumped into each other this trip  for 4th time it was clear we are meant for each other and one of us  suggested we have meal together and to facilitate that we exchanged Line as his shifts seem to be irregular. Rest is , as they say , history. But also future as we will learn soon.

Surely I should act much sooner but knowing that he is not from the scene made me quite apprehensive even if fact he saw me first with the boy settled expectancies somehow.

Day 11

In the morning SK was sleeping soundly so I decided not  wake him up and went to new Foodland for breakfast and meeting with MJ alone. I left his tip in plain view just in case, actually bit more because of his recent troubles in appreciation of fact that he did not ask for anything.

 We had a lot to talk about with MJ so when I returned well past 10  he was gone and tip collected with ‘thank you ‘message on the Line . Gone were also my new sandals owing to miscommunication. When he was e going to 7/11 last night I told SK he can use mine sandals  instead of  tying his sneakers and all that. What I meant one time usage he took as permission to use them in perpetuity. No harm done since I had another pair.

Today I feel a bit cold so went to buy Tylenol and stay in the room till afternoon. Tylenol did the job and at 4 pm I was ready for  trip to Arena with MJ as decided in the morning .

When going to bars or spas with somebody there’s always possibility that both of us will be fond of the same guy so we agreed on who will be first.  Greeted by veteran captain Art we surveyed realm , today very rich selection of mostly hunky hunks. Fortunately we had different picks. My choice was guy whose face was bit familiar but whom I was certain I never engaged.

 Only when he told me his name Nuk I got enlightened. One of most popular and praised guys there for many years. There was member who never took anybody else from arena then him.  Finally today was my turn to get acquainted . He aged a bit since last time I saw him  there but he did not lost his luster. Great body , great massage  skills and every thing else. Spoiled him with 2000 tip .

 Then MJ and me went to Foodland, a bit underused this trip because I had breakfast included in Quarter and for dinners somehow G’Bangkok had bit more allure.

  We always had plenty to talk about liking exactly the same types and in fact the same boys so spent some time there exchanging news.

 In the evening MK and me planned to go to Tawan so I went there knowing MK will be inside already. There was new boy # 4 , not exactly hunk but very attractive still. I had him sitting over drink and used occasion to get  bit intimate if only to have excuse to tip him.

 S wasted no time to sit beside on other side , that way securing  LT off tonight. Knowing what I know now If I have any regret this trip it was that I did not off #4 tonight instead .

  It was raining quite heavily when S and I left so even if it’s very close to hotel we took taxi which handily just appeared in front of bar.

Very energetic night, as I mentioned before S is not even close to being sand bag , at least not with me, that’s sure thing. He likes his inflated tips but to be fair works for them quite hard and never complains about inability to sleep because my manipulations.

But for tomorrow I made firm resolve , it’s #4. We will see how it will work.

Once I had a cute femboy from a bar in Sunee Plaza. We were both a bit drunk and to pass the time away he really enjoyed squeezing blackheads I had around my temple near my eyes. Thought it was weird but he was having fun, or was really bored.

it won't be much more, 2 more days and trip is over.

I don't talk neither politics nor religion with boys , not that any is inclined to. I like to talk or rather listen to  stories about their life. 

When I mention discussion of local election  in some country some readers may  even doubt it exists it's just internal slang for getting intimate.

I'm never bored with boys but yes, sometimes they are bored with me. It's when they start inventing those stories about lost key etc and resulting need to go home.

I don't blame them for getting bored but I do for not keeping terms of agreement we made.

Not sure it's always because they are bored, it may be many other reasons: commitment to their spouse, other clients are calling them to come, errands they need to do and so on.

Day 12

After breakfast we parted ways. I had tourist program in mind- to complete survey of monorail from Hua Mak to Lad Prao. That section was not yet operational when I rode it in Jun. So off I went to Hua Mak. From There to LadPrao 101 station as I knew there was boy massage place in the soi. Still is , sign " KB BOY" is visible from far. It was opened but I did not venture in  , retuned to station to continue my journey.

 When I returned to hotel they just started cleaning room  it so I decide to go to Foodland to eat something  and then  had a stroll through the area and generally had lazy afternoon enlivened by message from Kao from day 7 that he has day off tomorrow and will be happy to meet from 3 pm on. Confirmed right away.  

 After dark I went to Tawan hoping for massage with original twink Mas. He was there and suggested we utilize for our session new shiny room at Coffee Grinder two door away. Great idea at 600 baht, plus 500 off fee for removal him from the bar so it worked 200 baht more than charge when we had massages upstairs  in the bar but I liked it, all three , room , boy and massage in any order.

Then  to the bar, MK was already there but my heart started bleeding right away. #4 I was hoping to off tonight was sitting with some Asian customer and they seemed to have good time. S was trying to repeat last night feast but I think I become dispirited by missing chance on number 4 and resolved that if he will be taken by that customer I will try to console myself in Moonlight , not Tawan.

Mid show it was exactly what happened, both all smiles marched out, I tipped S, paid for my drinks and went to Moonlight to find bar busy and full. Mamasan who knows I like A  stabbed me in the back with news that he was already taken few minutes ago. Than another one, who knows I like also Y came and pointed that Y is sitting with customer who seem to be ready to take him. Which exactly what happened by time they brought me my drink.  So all I can have was handshake with Y leaving with that successful competitor. What a night , grrrrr!

 Seeing my long face mamas an pointed out at few new guys and particularly one  looked very attractive with manly , rough looking  face , in short exactly what I like so I called him over for drink. Myanmarese, he become clingy on the spot, looked enthusiastic so we agreed on long time and compensation and after paying off fee went to Happy Beer garden for a supper, by the way my last supper this trip.  

 From there to the room where things happened quite fast, no harm done thought I , now it will be more time for quiet romantic fake boyfriend experience as I liked him a lot. But it wasn’t meant to be as soon after he looked at his phone and said his roommate lost a key so must go to open door for him and of course he will be back but can I give him half of his tip now because he needs to buy something. Even time frame was quoted like 20 minutes or so. 

 Old trick , too old for me but what could I do? So far he worked hard for his compensation so handed over money, accepted without hope promise he will be back soon. Next hour I spent on the phone and tablet and then went to bed . Of course he did not return. Oh well.

My grandmother used to say there’s no bad thing which is not creating something good. At least I had very good night sleep, considering my next night will be spend on the plan it was quite a bonus. It’s why I’m not upset, just bit disappointed but still happy with experience, hot but short, lol.

What was bit unnerving though was Line message next morning of "how are you doing ?" like nothing happened. No repeat as Christian PFC uses to say.

Thank you! I have been hesitant to try Arena. Their website is down and as far as I know they don't have a Line account, so unlike Jey and Climax I don't know which fine gentleman are available on a specific day.

just go, website or not they are very much in operation. Arena rarely , if ever disappoints. If you don't know  who is available , even better, creates additional buzz for exploration. And main advantage, is right there in Silom ghetto so even if disappointed it's just short walk back to civilization

financially yes , fair deal but I still feel cheated as I wanted long time, not just 60 or 90 minutes.

No massage boy , no matter how muscled he is , will force you to get massage.  Bring your family pictures and he will be glad to look at them with you for length of session paid and tip agreed. Or whatever other activities you have in mind, what you call it ? oh, sex .
