Guest taylorsquare Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I just read on the news site that it is the start of the Canadian seal hunt/kill,I remember as a schoolkid signing a petition to stop this massacre. If anyone doesnt know,its where the hunters bludgen to death seal pups for their fur. ,its time Canada and CANADIANS stopped this. i dont like any animal cruelty,i dont know why some humans can be so cruel. Rogie Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 There was an article and some photos in one of the British papers recently highlighting something I was previously unaware of: killing polar bears for 'sport'. Perhaps this appeals to the same kind of latter-day 'Big Game Hunters' that go after lions in N.America, if I understand correctly another item I read about Tippi Hedren's lion sanctuary in California. According to this, she feels herself in danger for having spoken out about this. Quote
