I guess I just miss Sri Lanka a lot When I was going there, I didn't expect too much, because not everyone likes the island and there are some negative reviews. Usually people miss the relaxed peaceful atmosphere there like in Thailand or Vietnam. When you relax not only with your body, but also with your soul. Sri Lanka really has a completely different atmosphere and completely different people, but that makes it more interesting and unusual. You feel like an explorer and discover something new.

Can anyone please provide a comparison of Dickmans vs Gomez Place? Is the experience with the staff, masseurs, etc relatively the same?

Any suggestions for 10-14 day itinerary without constantly being on the move? Reading the comments in this thread and general travel information on Google is making me feel overwhelmed because it sounds like there are a ton of stunning places to see in Sri Lanka.

In Diсkmans the service is better. But in Gomez everything is much simpler with sex. You just go to the reception and say: I want a massage.

I still advise you to move around the island, because it is more interesting and you will get much more impressions. But during my trip I met many men who only vacationed in Negombo.

Tout à fait! Ca m'est arrivé aussi à Negombo! Les jeunes gars sont très sympas et te font vite comprendre mais de manière diplomate ce qu'ils ont envie! Le salaire moyen étant de 150 euros, soyez gentils généreux avec eux! A Gomez Place, toujours des jeunes gars à disposition! Ca peut parait etre déstabilisant au départ mais tout le monde y trouve son compte!

I mean all those hustlers in the Villa...The country the people their kindness the guys 's cute faces and EXTREEMLy low criminality! You will never be stolen! They are kind human beings and values....Not so sure in Maghreb

Have anyone had success with the "beach boys", guys working on the beach in tourist related stuff? Or are they exclusively for women?

I had a similar experience in Balapitiya; they don't just work with women. Handsome, muscular guys strut up and down the beach, trying to talk to white women. Just show them you're interested. The usual price for sex in the jungle is 5,000 rupees. But you have to be very careful, because there are a lot of bad guys among them. Don't tell them anything unnecessary (not even the name of the hotel) and don't give them your number.
