New to Thailand - sex questions

Hello; new to this forum. I’m a 30 year old top from Europe visiting Thailand for the first time. I’m recently out and looking to experiment with my sexuality in Thailand while here. Can someone please help with my questions:

1) I’m a top and only ever wears a condom, even for oral. What’s my risk with local Thai boys, including moneyboys, both fucking them and being blown by them? I particularly love being blown so interested in that. 

2) how safe would it be to receive oral sex unprotected from a massage parlour boy or moneyboy in Thailand?

3) is it safe to use moneyboys in Bangkok / Pattaya? Both in terms of STD risks and also crime / robbery / extortion?

4) would it be good practice to always insist on seeing ID for moneyboys? I absolutely do NOT want to inadvertently do anything with a minor.

5) are there any same day STD testing services in Thailand cities eg Bangkok / Chiang Mai? I googled this and there seem to be a few advertising that they can offer test results for things like HIV where the sex act was only a few days ago. Seems strange as in Europe, you usually need at least a 14 day window for testing since last act. 

6) are there are blowjob bars in Bangkok / Pattaya?

These are weird questions,  guys in Thailand are the same as all others in the world just act as you do in Europe and that's it.

If you are only 30 years old and decent looking, what do you need with money boys at all?  You should be able to use the hookup apps or just pick up boys just about anywhere in Thailand and not be asked to pay them a thing.  I doubt you would have any problems about using a condom and asking the boys to use a condom.

Unless this is just another hoax, you should place yourself, with photos, on the apps right now.  You'll have more offers than you can handle before you even go.

Thanks for the replies. It’s not a hoax and I understand the questions. I’m a very discreet person and I have a kink for paid hookups, that’s all. There’s no agenda. Would be good to get responses to these, I’m new to a lot of this.

1) Risk when wearing a condom is much reduced. Condoms are highly effective when used correctly. 

2) Unprotected oral sex is higher risk than protected oral sex. The CDC still recommends the use of protection. You have to measure your own risk tolerance. Are you up to date with your shots? HPV and Hepatitus for example? Are you on Prep (pre exposure prophylaxis)? Factor that into your risk tolerance

3) It is probably as safe as anywhere else.  Safer than some places in Europe to be honest.

4) You can ask, but frankly if you need to ask, he's probably too young for you (that's my rule).

I think it's lower than a car accident.

I m 66 yo. Engaged in oral in scores of countries. No prblm.

Re ur questions: Sex encounters in thailand r less prone to criminality, given that so many of them r connected to offs from bars clubs parlors.

I agree. I'm kinda in the same age group and never have had the need to pay in Thailand. Just an advice for @YoungWesternTop. If you are going to use the apps, especially in Bangkok, only discuss money if the guy says he is a MB on his profile or tells you that explicitly. If you assume they are mbs and start asking "How much?", you will get back lots of resentment, even from guys who would otherwise easily accept to have sex with you.

There are Pulse clinic in Silom and Pripta in Chamchuri square which offer all kinds of test, i.a. 14 STD from urine by PCR with results between 1 and 7 days (n.b. this is their processing time, if you want results faster you can pay more; not the time between infection and testing).

6) Not for gays. But stickmanbangkok occasionally writes about blowjob bars with ladies.

Thanks for this serious response. Is the risk for unprotected oral lower if I am the top? I never suck dick, only get sucked.

i had my first gay experience at forty-five. And I'm not alone among my generation; we lived the best part of our lives at a time when gay sex was illegal. At least in the UK. My first significant experiences with men occurred in Pattaya. And I met other guys in Boyztown who were in the same poition than me.

I knew little when I arrived. And there were no forums like this to help, just a couple of gay guide books.

In short, I prefer to accept that these are bona fide questions , even if the internet provides more information nowadays. After all, we- this forum- represent the "horse's mouth" when it comes to gay  sex in Thailand.

OP: assuming these are genuine questions then  in my opinion  and in your case for 1}-5) always use a condom , and for Std etc go to Pulse Clinic have branches in BKK and Pattaya. If u not taking Prep then u should consider start taking it.As to  question 6) re blow job bars no idea never seen such places.

Most of us posting here have been sexually active with moneyboys, escorts, etc. for decades ... so it might seem strange / odd to have someone arrive in our midst who isn't as sexperienced, asking questions.  I'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt that the questions are sincerely asked - because we've all started somewhere, oftentimes moving forward with the help of others.   

I don't know that it's risker having sex with a moneyboy / escort than with a freebie.  It's not as if there's an interview, testing, whatever before we have sex sex either.

Unprotected sex brings with it risks, some minimal (minor std's), or deadly (HIV/AIDS).  My own experience with STD's the past 50 years I've been particularly sexually active runs the gamut: syphilis, gonorrhea, Hep. A and B  ... but not HIV.  I haven't had unprotected / condomless anal sex (top or bottom) since 1985. I don't think, though, that anything I've caught originated with a play-for-pay relationship; I cannot be 100% certain.  I have encountered a few guys who wouldn't let me blow them unless they could wear a condom; always when it's been a straight guy and in Mexico. 

Newbies can be reluctant to go to a clinic to be checked-out if they suspect an STD.  I understand that.  It can be intimidating.  However, there's no judgement, just treatment.  Just go.
