But still the probality is around the 80-84 mark most die .

You sound like my late grandmother who used to say " up to 80 we earn it , after that is what we manage to steal from God". Sadly she died honest person , stealing nothing, few moths short of her 80's birthday.

Because life is about balance, about enjoyment, companionship, making decisions and weighing up compromises - amongst others. It is not, as most of your posts seem to suggest, about sex, concern about your erection, illness and old age. Naturally these are factors that have to be weighed into that balance. But there is far more to life and if you fail to take the opportunities that life throws at you and fail to find consistent enjoyment, then you are far more likely to look your age - in my view.

you are on the roll today Peter ( I run out of likes)

I respect your right to choose it, but I am not onboard with Doxi Prep...and none of the health care professionals I have spoken to in my home town (NYC) are recommending it either. We already have too many problems with super bacteria/antibiotic resistant bacteria. This is just going to make it worse. I will stick to Van Wilder's advice!

I understand.   when I spoke to my (central PA)  doctor about it, he never heard of it, but after he read about it, he prescribed it (at double the dose I requested) for me.  it is new, still in confirmatory testing in larger scale populations.  can also be used as PeP.

I understand and appreciate the concerns over excessive use of antibiotics and generally avoid them.  however, in this case I will use them.  I cannot think my vacation use (prep on demand both HIV and Bacterial) to protect myself and my partners will change the fate of the world.  especially since doxycycline is commonly used long-term for teenage acne all over USA (and maybe elsewhere).  And (perhaps) routinely fed to chickens....   similiar TO my cognizant dissonance over the CO2 used in my flights to Thailand will increase global warming...

after years of condoms... my old age rebellion... raw is law 💩 (sorry, I love the discussion more than the sex  🤐

... and finally [prep in usa is cheap for those who cannot get it free) Capture.thumb.JPG.1f95dbbf6e12a2ae5a0353324ac8ee1d.JPG

Doesn't sound like the type of Dr that I'd like......

Have you had kidneys tested, I've learned, albeit too late, how harmful so many things we do in life are to the kidneys, but especially many prescribed drugs, Prep being one.

Also, since you mention teenagers acne, you should be aware that you don't heal/recuperate like a teenager when you are older , so not a good analogy🙄

I like my doctor, he is old, seen it all, lets me try most things I want that are not harmful.  unfortunately he is retiring soon and I will end up with a young man who says no to cialis and viagra at the same time, challenges my testosterone prescription. and says you are too old to need prep!

Kidney function testing for prep users is part of the HIV PrEP testing regime (and quarterly HIV antibody test, but insurance only pays for once a year so off to the free clinic)  that being said, I use prep "on demand" when sexually active which (unfortunately) is not all year long.

I mentioned teenage acne to illustrate the extremely wide-scale, chronic and ongoing use of doxycycline for many years in the USA.  my occasional use is not going to change the bacterial biome resistance....  nothing to do with healing/recuperating.  Doxycycline helps prevents the initial  infection, so you don't need to use stronger medications to "cure" it (in a similar manner that HIV prep prevents infection, but prep low dose levels of emtricitabine and tenofovir will not fight off an established infection of HIV),

If you want to move seamlessly from massage with "oil" to condom use without concerns, avoiding an awkward interim, try "Pjur". I use the "Original" version which is good for both massage and use with condoms.

If you are expecting a very hard session you could for for "Pjur Back Door". All available from Amazon.

Shift the sex to the beginning before massage starts and prior to any oil. It generally throws the masseur off for a few seconds, but they never object. Eliminates the risk of condom break from contact with oil...

You risk more drinking alcohol and smoking ,  , I see farangs in their 30's who look my age because of alcohol , terrible stuff.

Same with smoking .

And then you get the hypocrites who take recreational drugs.

What do you mean with last sentence? I took cocaine for a couple years but that doesn’t mean I’m a hypocrite.

There is also bacterial prep (Doxycycline )which protects against Syphilis , Gonorrhea , chlamydia.. (not herpes)    and... oil takes a good bit of activity to degrade a condom  likely wont happen in the 5 minute fuck you get during a massage.,...

Can I ask you if you’ve gotten any of these bacterial infections before you started using Doxy?

I know it happens, I got Syphilis about 4 years ago, probably from Good Boys. They sent me to the emergency room for the penicillin because my doc didn’t have it.

But that was all I got in 20 years of serious mongering. I’m thinking of bottoming from now on, but I’m not going to take prep or doxy because my kidneys are bad. Even though my doc recommended it to me.

well if it gives you peace of mind then. I like your proactive stance with your doc. I challenge mine a lot. They simply don’t have time for all that needs to be discussed.

I think I know more than my doc when it comes to stds. She refused to give me the shingrix vaccine for shingles so I received it on my own. It works well.

Also none of my docs would dare give me the Gardasil vaccine. Had to get a private doc for that.

Have you consider taking the other prep drug called descovy which is supposedly kinder to your kidney based on the study? Another alternative is prep on demand, less pills and only needed to use when u are sexually active.

Clever! You just want to make sure you get a 2nd helping after the massage gets you worked up again... We are on to your scheme! 😋

After returning from Bangkok in April, where I had to take myself to hospital due to urine retention (caused by an enlarged prostate), I went to my doctor here in Perth.

He sent me for a very comprehensive series of blood tests and an ultrasound for my bladder and prostate. He said the results showed that I was in perfect health, apart from the enlarged prostate and that he wished all his patients were as healthy as me. My job ensured that I led a healthy lifestyle - no smoking or drinking - and I had to undergo regular health checks during my working life. They got more arduous towards the end of my career as I got older. Like Vinapu, I also only smoke when I'm in Thailand. So I intend to live way past 80! (fingers crossed!)

Like Shonen, my doctor also refuses to recommend shingrex. When I ask him why he simply says not to bother.

I guess we are way off topic... in  my career I have played host to Crabs in 2005 and came home from Thailand with chlamydia.   While using Doxy in thailand and Philippines my mouth and ass played host multiple times to a 20 year who we diagnosed and got treated for Gonorrhea .  I came home clean of that infection.

I am transitioning from top to bottom due to age.  I am just entering my bottom whore stage.

I live in middle of Pennsytucky, pretty backward here.

Shingrix is complete for me, recommended at 60.  Gardasil seems a waste.  I am sure I have HPV, and it is pointless to inject it when you have it.

I was th9inking about monkeypox and vaccine for Japanese encephalitis.  and of course the latest covid, flu before the winter sets in.

I don’t think they diagnose hpv unless you have a symptom. I’m assuming he’s like me and has mongered so much he probably is harboring the virus. Many of us have had the virus, and it cleared on its own, or it’s just hanging out waiting to become cancerous later, they just don’t know.

And if his doc is like mine would ask why would we do that for?

I would do an add for Merk if they asked me. I was getting shingles twice a year and the pain would last 14 to 17 days. For about ten years.

After the Shingrix vaccine, I’ve only had two attacks, one from a hot bath, one from very cold water. But the second one only lasted about three days. The first one was mild compared to before vaccine and only lasted about ten days.
