Olddaddy
I bet the MB taxi drivers in sunee have never had it so bad . What is exactly happening with sunee area, is there no further leases being allowed? That's my understanding Obviously when Winner boys lease ends who knows what will happen to that area

There are a couple of beer bars available for rent, from 3000 baht a month last I heard. Olddaddy

On my "Don't get it list " Last Saturday an expat friend walked around the complex at 9-10pm, and out of the 31 bars, counted 46 farang. Keeping in mind Jomtien Complex is usually a lot busier than Sunee or Boyztown, one can only guess the numbers there. The simple fact is, there is nobody here, and with the airfares as high as they are people are staying away. Low season's new name will no No Season. So why not start up a business? If there was money to be made, I am sure they would. A friend of mine did a complex cost analysis on this just to see if it was viable. While I don't remember the exact figures it was something like averaging 100 drink sales a night, year round. Rent, Utilities, Bribes, Licences, Staff, Stock turnover. Possibility of tax and work permit costs depending on ones situation. The lists of costs is endless. There isn't a lack of people who want to open a bar. There is just a lack of people stupid enough to do it in this climate. vinapu and Boy69

Low season's new name will no No Season Depressing it's an average of 1.5 client per bar if business won't improve soon Jomtien Complex fate end up as Sunnee deserted and darkness. The high airfares isn't the only factor there are more: High inflation and rising living costs all over the world caused many to avoid traveling abroad. The shrinking gay cliente coming to Thailand over the years. BKK bars attract South East Assians tourists and locals but Jomtien Complex and Sunnee don't it's mainly for Falangs . Too many bars in Jomtien Complex for relatively small area and limited cliente there is no enough business to justify so many bars .

A lot of you say this but when I end up going I see nothing but packed out bars with farangs! I will be there next week, and I will report my findings 😁 vinapu and dellboy 1
