Rio de Janeiro, Spring Fuck 2023

I am in Rio! I arrived yesterday. I am planning not to share as much on this trip, but the weather demolished my expectations. This is going to be shorter than usual, anyways.

It has been raining nonstop since I arrived. This morning it was so bad that the water falling noise woke me up at 7 am.

The flights were good, United from DC to SP, and then LATAM to Rio. The staff in SP was terrific. I flew in Economy Plus for the long flight and was surprised to find the plane semi-full. This is the first time I can have two seats for myself in a couple of years.

 

I prefer American's similar class. The legroom was the same, I think, but the food service is better in American. I was expecting a mask mandate in Brazil, but almost no one was wearing masks in SP and Rio's airports or in the Brazilian flight. I usually see significantly more masks in the US.

I arrived exhausted at 4 pm but could not resist the temptation to meet with my favorite boy from last November. I was planning to visit 202 but instead brought 202 to my place. We had a lot of fun. He left at 7.

When I was still recovering, a friend from the US who is filming porn here called me. He has fancy tastes and invited me to a late dinner at Noa Ipanema. You know I prefer more affordable and popular places, but the food and the drinks were great. We are both staying at Leblon, so he picked me up with his Uber for both trips. Impossible to walk. It was raining.

My plan today was to walk around Leblon, but instead, I am chilling in my base. I may go to hang out with my US friend. He is on a break from filming until this Wednesday. 

If the rain keeps fucking with my plans, you will have more reports.

I went to Point, but I did not stay after the show. The place was full of GPs, but lacking clients. At least seven guys advanced me. Even the masseur offered me extra services when I told him I was not interested in massages. The waiter asked me for his tip before bringing my drink. All of this did not happen in my previous visits.

I fell into the charms of one of three guys I met in November. He told me that he had a secret: he was now bottoming. I went with him, and the sex was very poor. He is adorable and did try his best, but he was lying. He does not like bottoming, and he is not good at it. Once we were done, I fell exhausted (I went for a long walk today after two days of rain, and the sun got me looking like the Chinese flag) and decided not to go for any of the super hot guys lurking around. I am fed up by what is happening in Pointe : they almost systematically try to cheat you on the bill, adding drinks you did not have ... the guy at the locker room handing towels asks for tip, ... This NEVER happened in 117. 

The masseur always offered more than simple massage, removing his trunks when the massage is over and putting his dick in your hand ... 

I miss Angelo who used to be masseur there.

I hate to top a guy who is somehow forced to bottom. I am too concerned not to hurt him to have any pleasure ... last sunday I had a new great bottom in 117. Never say never, or just keep your eyes and ears open more. The last towel guy at 117 (who worked there for a few years before leaving — short, indigenous guy) was notorious amongst clients for directly asking for tips.

Regarding your bill at ANY sauna, you should always check your line items on the screen before checking out. The same happens at all of them — sometimes it’s human error, and other times it could be a scam. Also, never let a GP take your key or order anything on your behalf — it’s too easy for them to order something you didn’t authorize (for themselves or friends). Some frequent clients have enough of  a personal relationship with the bartenders so they know not to allow anything on their tab from a GP unless the client gives the okay to the bartender himself, but I realize not every visiting client can build that kind of rapport. So, guard your own key, locker number and tab.

I forgot to mention that the lady who cleans the rooms and sells Viagra asked me for a tip. I did not check the bill! But yes, the tipping thing is out of control. 

The weird thing with the masseur was that I was not getting a massage. I'm not too fond of massages. Everything was a conversation in the bar.

And yet, the boys were hot and friendly, and the atmosphere was better for my taste than the 117 I remember. Who knows, perhaps this is the trip when I will switch favorite saunas. I had said that I was not sure whether or not I would go to 117 today. Now, I promise I will be there. I must compare.

I came back from 117 a few minutes ago. We met with @pauleiro and @buttercawan. It was packed, with many hot boys for all preferences. I had never seen so many boys I liked in that sauna. 

I arrived at about 6:30. Fifteen minutes after my arrival, a boy I was following on Instagram looked at me, and I did not waist time. Unfortunately, never before have I had to wait 45 minutes as today. It worthed it; the boy was perfect for me: short, hairless, athletic body and a voracious bottom. Hopefully, I will see him again, but in my quarters.

Next time you are in 117, simulate your survival and escape route methods in the event of a main floor kitchen greasefire. See if your apparel and locker contents playbook subsequently alters.

Maybe I’m partially to blame for the 202 locker room gratuity request.

I always, volitionally and without prompting, give a pequena gorjeta to those I view as members of what I would loosely categorize as janitorial, particularly if their task is more directly impactful on my time there. Also chat with the tall 40-ish male towel attendant; I’m embarrassed that I am guessing by recall that his name is Diego or Diogo.

The complaint seems possibly to be objection to a request that simply conveys tips are welcome … well, ‘don’t ask don’t receive’ is the rightful and not so outrageous worker position. The customer protest might seem legit if the sense is that the service worker is implying, imputing to the customer, a skinflint trait if not accommodated. That isn’t the intended dynamic unless a customer projects onto it. Look at your typical restaurant meal service charge. Are those amounts stimulating paroxysms of deep resentment? 

Cue the finger-pointing accusations of pushover traits surrounding parting with cash needlessly. Fine, some are happy with paying ‘needlessly’ more across transactional contexts. Doesn’t mean they’re not golden; that would be their call.

I never ask to top. I will top if invited. The 2 2oh2 massages this year included, inclusively, topping not prospectively preordained but spontaneously on offer. Just a variable that varies, not connoting anything unique about me.

JB and his sub-manager (the older thin fellow) last summer were obviously, visibly, conferring about me when I had finished my fruit juice but declined offers for seconds or for the snack menu at the time. I didn’t take up a room though I don’t remember if it was free suite night. No key number shared with a garoto. I think an amount in the ballpark of 80 reais for entrada+suco in a bar where I sat quietly observing the lack of hot guys yields a not unreasonable venue profit. They may have thought I was a new and naïve estrangeiro. Lo and behold the PC tally when leaving included food and additional drinks that of course lead to much eye rolling on my part, back-pedalling on theirs. Thing is, I’d have happily given JB a finder’s fee for a programa candidate to my liking. This was a night that reflects my general ongoing disappointment in 202 trade options, other than the exceptionalism of the fun massajista.

Thanks. Mineiro doesn’t ring a bell, as I don’t recall ever meeting any fellow with a first name geo-representative of a state. Though I cannot rule it out. Interestingly, I once met porn actor Diego Mineiro but just by his first name, prior to learning his full production name. I’m definitely not conflating the two by appearance but possibly by memory storage.

It’s been Béa most of the time since tourism opened up more. One of the previous guys, V, is now the line cook.
