Well, maybe not! The Winston Man, Alan Landers, died at age 68 of cancer of the larynx. He previously had cancer of the lungs and heart disease. Since the Marlboro man has died that now leaves the Lucky Strike Girl, Janet Sackman, who also had a cancerous lung and had her larynx removed. Miss Sackman has been a "vocal" supporter of anti-smoking efforts.

Instead of "Winstons taste good like a cigarette should," I like the slogan, "Winstons taste bad like the last one I had."
