Members Thomas_88 Posted February 2, 2023 Members Posted February 2, 2023 Hi Riobard, Thanks for sharing the article. Last year, when prostitution got legalised in Belgium, the vice prime minister and secretary of justice said "not paying a sex worker would be considered rape". vinapu, Riobard and Ruthrieston 3 Quote

Well, what else would one expect a "Vice" minister to say? 😉 vinapu, kokopelli3 and Riobard 1 2 Quote
NIrishGuy Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I see it says the case went up on the 2nd Feb, I wonder does anyone know the outcome perhaps !? Quote
Members Riobard Posted February 3, 2023 Author Members Posted February 3, 2023 Could be a while to formally adjudicate following all submissions. Community service giving free blowies with ONE protection could be fitting, but it’s Canada. Not Magnum; it’s small claims. Quote

Just out of interest there - is small claims different there compared to the UK then as here the whole point of small claims court are you rock up, state you case/s and the judge makes a binding judgement based on the facts as placed in front of them, there and then, with no long delays or adjournments ( ideally) and you get your collective answer as to who has to pay up before you leave the court. Is it different in Canada perhaps ? Quote
