Bob Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 You're correct....you don't pay the 500 baht exit fee (or whatever it is now) at Suvarnabhumi. Some time ago (about a year?), the Thai government required the airlines to collect the fee for them - so, if you have your ticket out of here, you've already paid it. Quote
atri1666 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 To pay the 700 baht only happens when you are in transit -with long time to wait- and you decide to visit the city without already having your boarding card for the next flight. When you go check in they will ask for the 700 baht to pay (happens with friend returning from auckland and having around 13 hours time for the next flight-he was to clumsy to go to the transfercounter before going to immigration).
