As far as I can see, those mentioned in that Bangkok Post article refer to mixed resorts. I still have found no information about a dedicated gay friendly resort. I think they do it once a year in Thailand, called The Naked Thai Villa, basically everyone can be nude throughout the property. THere was a party one night there that was crazy, they had a guy under the table.
