I know you guys are smart and have traveled there before and know the DO'S & DONTS of rio, but he is stating that it has gotten worse because of the pandemic and their crumbling economy. I was telling my husband last week that i noticed the dollar is a lot stronger against the REAL From when we were last there in 2020. If you are there anytime soon or planning to go for new years eve make sure you protect yourself and are aware of your surroundings and drinks. They're having the same issue in Colombia right now. The straight group I'm in on social media has been reporting a lot of drugging. Even a Korean guy who was killed last month because he trusted a suitor and was drugged, and found dead.
