Popular Post Alsfca Posted December 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 2, 2022 I just spent 9 days in Japan, 3 days each in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka over Thanksgiving. I visited several Onsens and a couple of brothels. Just a quick heads up, as with many things in Japan, it is better to prearrange the boys online before rather than trying to pick one up on the day of or one day before. Tokyo Hot spring - I didn't go to any gay saunas this time, but went to an Onsen with natural hot spring that was supposed to have a lot of eye candy and some action. This one is in a commercial mall with indoor and outdoor pools https://www.ousama2603.com/shop/ooimachi/access.html. Very open space with limited area to play (probably in the steam room). However, there are many signs in Japanese (I can read a little bit) saying they will call the police if you behave suspiciously. I think they are trying to crack down on bad behaviors. I met a Taiwanese guy on another forum and he went to another hot springs in Shinjuku area https://thermae-yu.jp/ and reported that it is all look and no action too. I also read that there is another community bath house https://spa-tokyo.net/z-t-daikokuyu-nakano/index.html that can have some touching but I didn't have time to explore. Brothel - I booked a guy on https://en.hi-na.com/cast/rank.php that I have been lusting after since pre-pandemic (3 years of blue balls)! I checked his schedule and emailed the place in English a week ahead and arranged the time. Response was quick. A few minutes before the appointment, I arrived at the suggested exit at the train station and tried emailing them to pick me up, but I ended up having to call them. Once inside the shop, they confirmed what I ordered and I paid upfront. The guy is very similar to the picture but definitely a few years older but not too far off and has a smoking body. I think the only exaggeration is his dick size (so if you are a size queen you might be disappointed). The operating procedure was shower, mouth wash and then onto the bed. He kissed and licked my nipples but only sucked a little bit. We fucked with condom with both of us came. I enjoyed the time and almost wanted to book for the overnight but I had to leave Tokyo the next morning so I resisted my urge. I think I paid 22,000 yen for 2 hours. Just a personal preference, I think I prefer my Japanese brothel experience (I used other shops in Japan before in previous trips with similar experience) over the ones I had in Thailand such as My Hero or VClub. The room in Japan is a regular studio with a shower and bright set up like a bedroom, and the guys (at least try to) make me feel like I was having sex with my boyfriend. Whereas in Thailand, the rooms are usually carved out from a big space and dimly lit, which makes me feel like I was visiting a brothel with a you know what 🤷♂️😅. fedssocr, TotallyOz, splinter1949 and 4 others 5 2 Quote
PeterRS Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Thanks for that report. You are quite right to point out that any form of sexual activity or even trying to touch another guy's dick or ass are definite 'no-nos' in virtually all hot springs. This goes for South Korea and Taiwan as well as Japan. In Taiwan there are also notices (but only in Chinese) about no hanky panky in the steam room (although late at night there may be occasional touching in the steam room - if you can stand the heat of the steam!) Alsfca Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 Kyoto This is like the Sahara for gay venues, at least for a non-Japanese speaking person. Bathhouse - There used to be a gayish (regular but frequented by gays) Sento (bathhouse) just a few minutes walk from the JR Kyoto station. I visited it once before the pandemic late at night and it was fun. But the building was torn down during the pandemic. Brothel - There are not many brothels advertised for having a Kyoto shop, one such was 男子学園 https://www.dgdgdg.com/top.php?shop_id=1 . I wasn't interested in their offerings when I was preparing for my trip, so I did not booked anything. However, when I was in Tokyo I saw that they have a couple of new faces that I I like to meet so when I arrived in Kyoto I sent them an email in the morning and asked for an afternoon appointment. No response for a few hours. I sent them a follow up at around 2 pm, and then I sent them a Line message. The reply came in Line first and said the guy I wanted was fully booked. Then I asked for a 2nd option fully booked too. After I came home from my vacation, I read on another forum that someone had a similar experience with dgdgdg's Tokyo store too - very tardy responses and the guy who showed was a few extra pounds over what was on the photo. So, buyer beware. a-447, Tartegogo, fedssocr and 1 other 4 Quote
Popular Post Alsfca Posted December 4, 2022 Author Popular Post Posted December 4, 2022 Osaka I think Osaka has a lot to offer Bathhouse - There is the famous Spa World. This is regular super bathhouse frequented by fathers with kids. I was there several times before, lots of cute guys and I saw some light actions in the steam room but I didn't participate. There is also this regular Sento 金比羅温泉 https://iiofuro.com/osaka/s1640/. It is frequented by regular older Japanese guys and working class guys. When I was there pre-pandemic, it was full of actions. I wanted to say most, if not all, were there to play. There are several gay bathhouses in Osaka - the more famous one is probably http://hokuoukan.jp/. I am not sure whether it was the Osaka men or the place, I like this place better than 24 Kaikan in Tokyo. This time, I also visited another gay bathhouse https://www.travelgay.com/venue/business-inn-royal-sauna/. This place has a reputation for bears and older men. When I was there on a Sunday afternoon, there were lots of actions on the mattresses in the open rooms - fucking and sucking. I don't remember they provided me with condom or lube at entrance. Brothel - Again, there is this guy I lusted for 3 years at https://www.ultra-osaka.com/boy.htm. I checked his schedule before I left the States and sent them an email right after I arrived in Tokyo for an appointment a week later. I think they did not respond for a couple of days and I had to send a follow up email but everything was set up. My emails were in English and they responded in Japanese. I have no problem with translation on my iphone. Just make sure your insert your email the picture of the guy you want to meet and the open schedule to avoid any confusion. At the arranged time, I arrived at the train station and snapped a picture of the station name and exit number with a bottle of water in my hand and emailed it to them. They did not respond to my email. Just like in Tokyo, I had to call them on my phone. They picked up the phone and came to pick me up. The process is more or less the same - confirm the guy you booked, payment in cash, the guy shows up, undress, he washes you in the shower, come out, have sex and the cuddle. Both of us came more or less the same time. He came in the condom while he was still in me. I have to say, this guy although looks very similar to the picture but had definitely put on some pounds and is few years older in his forties rather than in his 30s. He looks like a middle aged Japanese salary man, which I have a fantasy for and enjoyed the encounter. In fact, he showed up in his suit😀. He has a regular office job and is only doing this part-time. I booked him for 90 minutes and it was only 15,000 yen in-call. Looking forward to another adventure😅 I will be in HCMC over Christmas and hopefully will have something to report back. a-447, fedssocr, Mavica and 3 others 5 1 Quote

PeterRS Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 WIth the US$ still high against the Japanese ¥ it is as good a time as any to book a trip Japan - although the heat and especially the humidity in summer can be stifling. Late autumn in November can be stunningly beautiful with the trees changing colour. At US$1 = ¥140 this is a lot better than the average of ¥106.76 it was in 2020. a-447 1 Quote

Grab a guy from Danshi Gakuen or the like, grab some take-away from from the Basement (B1 or 'depachika' as it's called in Japanese) of any department store, grab some alcohol and then grab a train and head out of Tokyo to some of the less touristy places, grab a spot under a sakura tree and enjoy your own private 'hanami' (cherry blossom viewing) party. Japanese love to travel, especially in Japan itself, so a trip with a guy, even outside of cherry blossom season, would be extra special. Given how ridiculously cheap Japan is, you could enjoy great meals together. You could even take him on a shopping spree and not break the bank. I've just returned from 3 weeks in Japan and it's been a while since I was there this time of the year. I'd forgotten how beautiful the flowers were in the gardens and around the temples and shrines. fedssocr 1 Quote
PeterRS Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Totally endorse @a-447's comments. Compared to pre-covid years and despite a rush of tourists, prices are historically still pretty cheap. All Japan rail passes at US$225 for 7 days or $359 for 14 days are great value (and include many of the bullet trains) if you can plan some of your trip in advance. Details here. https://japanrailpass.net/en/purchase.html 6 hours ago, Keithambrose said: What about the Sakura season in early spring, if you can catch it. Superb. Also stunning. The only problem is if you have just a few days, you can never be certain exactly when the sakura will be out. Understandably it appears earlier in the warm south and then works its way up. But it is the most delicate of petals and one shower of rain will see many disappearing. There are many internet sites telling you exactly when the sakura will bloom in each part of the country. The problem is that these are only posted at literally a week or so notice. And with all prices tradtionally rising in Japan for the sakura season, that's not great for cheap deals in hotels. On the other hand, if you can go for at least 5 days and be flexible in your itinerary, there is a very good chance you will see it in full bloom somewhere. 10tazione 1 Quote
caeron Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Yes, Sakura season is amazing. (I lived in Japan for a few years). But, it is hard to fully predict, and short. Fall is more dependable. But, if you want the best of the best, Sakura it is. That is Japan at its finest. I'm planning to revisit with friends next year. If you're going, take a look at the matsuri (festival) schedule too. Some of them are quite amazing, and worth shifting a bit to incorporate. I got to participate in a few as an exchange student some (cough, cough) decades ago. Quote

I believe that there is a a TV channel devoted to Sakura, during the season. The season is also well known for parties. You are right about unpredictability, and short season. I was lucky to catch it in full bloom once, in Tokyo, next day it rained! I have a book written by an English guy who followed the Sakura from the south of Japan to Hokkaido, hitchhiking. He spoke Japanese! Quote

You'd better be quick. Prices for the rail passes are doubling in October, making them uneconomical. Quote

I was there the first week of April this year and even though things were past peak bloom in Tokyo there were still plenty of blossoms to see. The big park in Shinjuku was magical. I've been toying with going back at the end of November for autumn leaves, but flights are crazy expensive and no mileage seats seem to be available. I still have a pile of cash from my trip because I got covid which killed the last several days of my time in April and didn't get around to visiting any of the brothels Quote
a-447 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 I'm off to Japan in a couple of weeks time. I'm going with a straight friend but he's very open-minded and doesn't care what I get up to. My plan was to visit Hokuoukan sauna in Osaka but just discovered that it had closed! WTF??? I'll have a look around to see if another establishment has taken its place. I'm also thinking of returning again in November as it's been a while since I've seen the autumn leaves. They are spectacular! Fedssocr, if you do go in November make sure you visit places like Kifune shrine, Tofukuji, Nanzenji and Eikando. Here you'll be mixing with the locals as most tourists have limited time and so head to the more famous temples and it can be a real nightmare. We are also visiting Korea - Busan and Seoul. We were planning to go on the tour to the JSA in Panmunjom but those tours have been cancelled since that dickhead ran across the border into North Korea. I've been to Seoul before. I visited the gay area but didn't see much. Might take another look of I have time. TMax, 10tazione and alvnv 3 Quote
