maybe something got lost in translation ?  that’s hardly considered weird by a sex-worker, but whether they would do it or not, for health reasons is another question.  I’ve posted about this before ….rimming can result in a very nasty (and painful) parasite that requires a complicated diagnosis process (only gay doctors seem to know symptoms and connect the dots) and then a course of treatment that is not great either,  The treatment is a week of Flagyl with a few pills a day and the pills are harsh and no drinking at all during the treatment or you will get violently ill.  So, my guess is rimming may be considered too risky as it may put the boy out of business for awhile.  Or, it may just be a certain boy’s preference not do it for whatever reason.  No harm is asking for whatever you want - but boys unwilling to do it is not surprising. I’d think that a boy would do it when you have an ongoing relationship, bit not randoms that you just meet.

Given that some of the boys will not kiss, I think it is entirely reasonable that some/many will not rim. As @Slvkguy rightly points out, there can be serious, nasty and expensive health risks involved. Flagyl is a not uncommon antibiotic for serious gastric disorders (like diverticulitis) but the need for 3 pills a day for up to 2 weeks results in feeling nauseous and pretty awful during that time and alcohol is an absolute no-no. Effectively that puts them out of any possibility of further offs during that entire time.

If someone wants a boy to rim them, it is only fair to the boy to state in advance that rimming is part of the deal. I suspect most will decline. Bringing the issue up only after you off them is totally unreasonable IMHO.

Yes , I had my throat checked a few weeks ago by a throat specialist $400 , he put the camera in my nose and looked for about  40 seconds

you can have gonorrhea in your throat (an in fact in your anus, too) with hardly or no symptoms at all. A camera won't find that (stupid doctor to do that), but a swab with lab test. Very easy

Yes go to a Sexual health clinic and get a throat swab.

I'm not sure if government run sexual health clinics are free in the USA where you are but in Australia they are so I go every few months to get a anal & throat swab

If it’s shortly after it’s usually friction; mucosal tissue irritation. I typically have the recipient wear a condom for fellatio due to high STI rates among sex workers.
