There was a cruising place there with an interesting set-up. They had a wall with glory holes. The guys standing there were about three or four feet higher than the guys standing on a sunken floor on the other side so their heads (mouths) were at about the same height as the dicks sticking out through the holes. I quite liked it.

Similar to Steamworks Baths in Chicago.

I thought it was a marvel of engineering and ingenuity when I saw the one in Australia. It works well.

"Slurp Ramps", I think they're called.  I'd visit Steamworks when I lived in Chicago.  Cock, for days!    Maybe 30 "holes' guys would stick cocks into.  If you couldn't get blown, or blow ... there was something wrong with you.  There are other slurp ramps in that baths, but the one where wanna-be recipients of blow jobs are on an elevated platform ... is unusual for gay baths, from my experience.

Although no slurp ramps, when I speak of gay baths I'm always drawn to fond memories of Babylon Baths in Bangkok ... years ago.  Visiting Babylon was a joyous experience!

I may have gone there about 15 years ago. Was it a fancy looking multi-level place?

Yes.  It was considered at the time, the standard by which all gay baths were judged by.

My situation is somewhat similar to @vaughn - Australia, in my 30's, comfortable life, with a kinda specialised field. In the next few years I hope to have a year off from 'life' and have a go at living in Thailand, learning the language and whatnot. Then can decide if I want to stay and find a job, or try another country, possibly China or Singapore. It would involve giving up my comfortable life, but I really just want to do something else for a while as I've never experienced living or working anywhere else in the world. I can always come back if it all goes to shit.

Can't believe so many are from WA. I recommend you try China.
