I am not an owner of any bar in Sunnee plaza. Just someone who enjoys the bars, and the area that still has a go go bar with twinks.

I’ve walked there after getting off the baht bus countless times and can’t recall once where I was in danger of being hit by a motorcycle. This was from January thru April of this year. Maybe with the easier entry it’s more congested now, possibly.

RobimHood sounds like he’s into drama. Just stay away then. And while your at it, watch out for lightning. And don’t touch anything metal, you might get shocked,lol.

This is sunee plaza road you will see a few times if you watch it a while 10 bikes in a row go bye chasing eachother in 2 seconds, and bikes coming from every angle, this what pattaya residents put up with 24 hours a day, they complain about them racing through the night while they sleep, police make arrests once a year for 10 years,  people die, but it goes on.

This alot quieter when i went down they were  in full swing, my heart goes out to the pattaya residents who endure this nonsense, don't visit bars in sunee for your own safety. I fely very intimadated with my partner, from the bikes and hundreds of crazy muslims high on drugs.

There is no easy access for a Shopping Mall and it is off the beaten track. The narrow roads would not support the traffic.

As regards a condo development, again no chance. The whole area can only be regarded as a slum and any condos wouldn’t sell. Again difficult for car access.

If there was going to be any development in the area it would have started a long time ago. I think Madame Sunee, if she really exists and actually owns the area, is stuck with a dead duck.

I spent a bunch of nights at Sunee in April and August this year and I never once had an issue with motorbikes. There are some groups of Arab guys playing pool at their bars and some at the Arab restaurants behind Tukom. Who cares what they do with their holidays, they don't start fights or cause issues with us, so why should we care?

If you're so worried about these "hundreds of crazy Muslims high on drugs" with motorbikes that you seem to believe exist, take a bolt taxi, or better yet stay in Bangkok where there are no issues with road safety 😅

Incidentally, the only time I've ever been close to being hit by a scooter in Pattaya was a white guy that sped around a blind corner. It's the same with discrimination, never had an issue with a Muslim or Hindu, can't say the same with my fellow westerners.

I'd take a bet on what this is really about, but I'll just avoid the drama and ignore it.

I agree with you ,👍 especially in that main soi that goes past Nice Boys ,

I tend to walk towards the traffic but still aware of my safety as the motorbikes usually the high end powered  type speed past ,the scary part is they are dodging from side to side .

These are usually the young males of Middle Eastern appearance, I think GB & "Undaunted" have written about it numerous times .

I try to avoid walking up that Soi at night due to that 👍

Winner Boys, Nice boys, the only ones open end of july week end  when i visited, both useless, i read in this forum there were 20 kids working at winner boys in june or july, the reason i posted here was about the wrong information posters are posting here that tricked me to go there, i am puzzled how the hell would i know about all these loony arab kids on motorbikes unless i visited sunee, i was so infuriated about this incident i looked it up on line to see what people are doing about these lunatic kids, i was astounded to see its been going on for 10 years & they are doing nothing & that people have been killed by them, yet it still goes on.

These idiot kids are unwanted guests in this country most of them have over stayed there visa's & there families are bribing the police to bail them out, they are unlicensed, no insurance, they run you over your left with millions of baht in medical bills,  while they zoom off on their bikes.

Well apparently its all a figment of my immagination & the hundreds of pattaya residents, the police arrests, the TV crews, newspapers its all lies, we all can be a ostrich with our head in the sands or we can face reality & try to warn others.

You remind me of the CNN news reporter standing in front or burning police station behind him, in portland saying the george flloyd demonstrators are very peaceful & not causing trouble. Thats why CNN is dead & has there worst viewing figures ever.

You one of the few realist here, unless you have good insurance cover or are prepared to spend a million baht for medical bills is sunee worth the risk? cars parked on both sides no pavements, motorbikes front & back reminds me of dodgem cars, the punter walking is the dodgem with no protection while the idiots on bikes ram into you when you are not looking.

What alot of people here forget to point out is when you have a hundred  bikes revving up in a single  tiny soi it is impossible to determine the direction of the danger all the time, i have lived here for 22 years i am used to bikers texting while driving but they are lone drivers easy to spot on quiet sois, these idiots are not because of their numbers & erratic driving.

They will change drivers half way down the soi or turn around mid way down, they are so mindless & eratic they are all accidents waiting to happen, i know chaos when i see it, at least at mbk junctions with hundreds of bikers it is organised chaos they wait for traffic lights they observe the road, these muslim kids do not see jack shit there all laughing & high, one of the worst expierences of my life. I  am a hod carrier come close to falling off ladders a few times i know hard work & i know risks, these idiots are not thai & are not responsible like thai people are.

I thought this was a post about tips on Pattaya... Not a discussion about races, discrimination and who's right & who's wrong... 

I think there can be two opinions on almost all things... A bar I think has a nice atmosphere, somebody else will find too loud. A boy I think is sexy, somebody else wouldn't even pay attention too. 

And a Soi that somebody else finds dangerous, you maybe will feel completely safe in. 

Also it can be all about what time you are where. If somebody is in a Soi where a lot of motorbikes dangerously drive/race around doesn't have to mean somebody who comes there the next day has the same expierence. 

I see this forum as a place where people can agree but so can think different about things. Like hotel reviews where somebody writes its a horrible hotel while the next guest writes its a fab place to stay... 

It's all about perspective, expectations and feelings. 

I've read on this forum for example that Dreamboys in Bangkok would be the bar with the best boys. For me it was the least favourite place when I made my round in the Bangkok bars two weeks ago... I don't go and write other poster was wrong and he must have been making it up. I just give my own opinion about my visit. 

It's all about respect.

I totally agree however as a new poster if anyone has the audacity to criticise sunee plaza the bar owner expats from winner boys & nice boys are calling you a nazi & a racist, i understand they love the place i do not & expressed that through my posts & quite fairly warned newbies of the motor bike risk there, when you can not criticise a establisment it becomes a communist society, there is a handful of posters here who are just pushing sunee non stop, i went there through there bad advice for the first time ever, i only ever visited boystown in 22 years. There are alot safer & great places in pattaya, jontien or boystown, sunee is mad max for motor bikers.
