has anyone heard of this swimming pool? A Thai friend told me it’s very cruisy with lots of guys looking to hook up

No, but no further details, you did not even state in what city. In fact the nr of swimming pools in BKK is quite small, for most Thai the nearest by klong is good enough.

In fact the Thai says a little different: more like sara wai naam (=these 2 means swim) chorn charoen.
