London buyers beware

Just tried to have a session with PietroBrazil on hunqz. He is also on rentmen: PietroHotBoy

I set up the meeting time tonight and of course as usual, I asked two things: if he has any erection issues, and whether he kisses with tongue. He confirmed in message he likes kissing with tongue and no issues with erection, so I booked and went to his apartment (probably airbnb?) off Sloan Sq. His english was weak so we had to use google translator. He asked me to pay upfront and I usually do not because it is a big red flag for me. After trying to explain this on google translator he said it is ok (I even showed him my wallet and showed I have the money), So he took off his shirt and I tried to kiss him but he avoided it and started kissing my neck, and I said he agreed to kiss with tongue and he got angry and went to bathroom and called someone. Oh boy, a big drama tranny came out her pen!s hanging and they briefly chatted in Portuguese and she just said "Money" to me. I got quite shocked with everything and i said "what?" and she just came to me and said money again and pushed me on the chest. I got really angry, it falls under assault and I never engage in any physical confrontation with anyone in my life and i didnt do anything to be physically assaulted like that. Anyway, I said I didn't get any service and I have no intention to pay because he agreed to certain things to make the booking but she just got closer to me, and said money again, so I got scared and I said I needed to call police. She said fine call but I didn't know the police number in UK so I had to google lol and someone got on the phone and asked me if I need an ambulance or police and I said police. Then she probably realized I actually called the police and said I can go. So I starting putting my shirt on, this Pietro guy got really aggressive all of sudden and tried to punch me. Yep! I was not sure if he really wanted to punch me or wanted to threaten me because he could have just punched me but didn't punch and kept pushing me with his body and calling me names. Now the tranny got hold of him and asked me to leave quickly so I just grabbed my jacket and bag and left. As soon as I got on the street, the police called back (because probably I got disconnected, I don't really remember why because things happened so quickly but I think i probably closed my screen as Pietro came to push me around). I told that the police everything is fine now...Made sure they were still in the house, not following me :(

Anyway, it was quite scary but I really didn't know what to do. But his attitude is something I have never seen and I was thinking about it tonight quite a lot and maybe he was on a drug or something? I don't know, he didn't do what he promised and we didn't even touch each other and I was there for ten max, I couldn't figure out why he was so upset and aggressive....

I have two questions.

1. How do you deal with escorts who want to charge upfront? I feel like it is a big red flag as they are not confident in their service and usually do a sloppy job and once the money is in his hand, he has no incentive to fix things. But once we meet, things can get difficult.

2. I want to write a review but now the daddy is gone, what is a reliable place to write a review? Of course, he will delete hunqz and rentmen reviews so no point...

Rule #1: NEVER pay up front.

Rule #2: Never forget rule #1

The only exception I would make is if paying a professional host bar in Japan, where the bar bill, off fee and boy's fee are all paid to the bar.  Japan is the only country in the world where I would do that.

Elsewhere in the world, it's possibly a good idea to walk out the moment they demand up front payment.

I have removed boys from my room by force in Berlin. Whilst I'm happy to pay for services,  I'm extremely reluctant to pay for refusal to perform services.  This is easier with small lads, however as I get older, I'm aware that they may have more strength than me.

Ideally you would have involved the police and then complained to Hunqz.  Bear in mind that the other guy isn't necessarily working in the country legally, so may be keen not to get involved with the police.

Forget your libido and trust your instincts. As soon as you detect anything going south, act immediately and get yourself out of the situation and back on the street. Don't argue or try to negotiate over money after any threat or actual violence. As soon as you learn that there's a second person on the premises, that's another signal to get out.

I've never had a situation In Thailand (or any SE  Asian country) where I felt physically threatened. I've had guys who want to try to negotiate a bigger tip before they left but that only happened a handful of times.

In cases where a guy (massage or off) fails to make good on things he agreed to, I tend to lose interest and end the session. I pay him the usual ST fee or tip for massage and cut my losses. There are too many good ones out there to waste time on a loser. But like I say, those situations are rare in Asia in my experience.

When entering the apartment of a stranger, take note of how the door is secured so you'll know how to quickly exit. It takes but a few seconds to check.

But I reiterate, your number one objective should be your personal safety. Act quickly. The longer you remain in a confrontational situation (especially involving more than one person), the odds go against you.

My golden rule is to never go back to a stranger's house as you don't know who is waiting in the back room.

For me, it's my hotel room only, although I have at times had fun in a bar with the doors locked- and that was only because I knew the guys well.

Think with the big head, not the small one!

Pay upfront guys are never worthwhile.  Usually they're in a big city where they can hustle visitors without worry.  But it can also be a danger from a law enforcement perspective.  Spelling out what you're paying to do and collecting the cash is an open and shut case.

That's the case in countries where prostitution is illegal.

In the UK, it's legal, as long as you're not running a brothel or "kerb crawling".

Thanks for writing a full report @young11.

You've had good advice here: Never pay upfront, and Exit straightaway if you feel threatened. You should have phoned the police (999 in the UK) once you were outside.

I'd just add one caution: Never flash your wallet/money to a stranger. You should have put the money in one pocket, some extra plus a credit card in another pocket, and leave the rest in your hotel-room safe.

I hope you have some good experiences soon, and put this bad experience behind you. At least, you avoided getting hurt.

Did the review side of this site die with photo uploads?

I've had plenty of great experiences with new guys who asked for their money upfront. Trust is often a 2-way street. In the world of female escorts, paying after service is usually a no go. Why should it be different for gay male escorts?

There are countless tales of bad, awful customers. Escorts have to deal with a lot of assholes, particularly drunk or drug-induced assholes. If you're meeting someone new, how is either person supposed to gain the trust that is needed to secure an equally satisfying deal? What is the proper negotiation that works for everyone?

If you are hung up on NEVER paying upfront, then it is incumbent on you to SCREAM that in your advance communication with a new purchase, and then see how that goes. Are you willing to take the risk of being forever dumped?

Trust matters more to me than silly, self-imposed rules. You attract more bees with honey. Starting off a negotiation with "demands" usually ends badly for everyone.

That said. I never fall in love with a photo. I do my best to stay away from known smokers and drug users. I don't go to unknown addresses. And if you don't speak a language that I speak, then I probably won't hire you.

thank you all for your advice on the matter. @msclelovr yes i am happy that nothing happened and now I know the police number in the UK lol To lift up my mood, I just booked a trip to barcelona this weekend so I will report back. Things are a lot easier in sauna haha

I never used sleepyboys before, so if I leave a review, can the escort just delete the profile? Either way, he doesn't have any reviews, so I see it is probably costless to get rid of the profile once he gets a negative review.

I also sent an email to rentmen, but I am not very hopeful they will take any action. Either way, let's see.

I'm no expert on this but yes he could just delete his profile... but most don't... I don't know why... perhaps it's difficult to get readmitted?  or it takes too long?

That's mainly why I uploaded a couple of his free-to-anyone photos... so no matter how often he deletes profiles... his face and your review will be linked forever (at least on this website).

I don’t want to upset you but before you go, please check online for the local Covid-related restrictions.

Various regions of Spain are relaxing their rules but NOT Catalonia so far. It has just extended the closure of nightlife for another week. And you need to wear the proper masks outdoors or risk being heavily fined.

thanks for thinking about the potential further disappointment. It was fun, of course I didn't care about the mask rules as I am ok with wearing mask but i didn't have to wear a mask in the sauna, I will update the sauna thread.
