Popular Post vinapu Posted December 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2021 Yesterday along with distinguished member we visited Boyztown between 8-9. Earlier , around 5 while passing by I took some pictures attached. What a change to a week ago when it was dead dead. Red carpets on the soi, Copa , Castro , New bear between Castro and Serene,( name escaped me), Serene, Panorama and BBB opened! Number of customers not overwhelming but perhaps 2 dozen scattered in the seats. It was still early. BBB mamasan told me the show will be on the street. Several boys attending , almost all new faces but few veterans including one who remembered not only me but also that I liked his massages. Will visit again today . earlier rather long stroll from Boyztown along Bitch Road ( spelling ? )all the way to Terminal 21 proved the same observation. Compare to week ago city is much busier, more venues opened and sidewalks are more crowded BOYZTOWN AT 5 pm yesterday Week ago it was dead as I said. reader, Lonnie, TotallyOz and 4 others 4 3 Quote

Guest Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Including staff and customers, whilst visiting with another distinguished board member, I counted about 100 people in Boyztown yesterday, which is good by recent standards. Admittedly they probably benefitted from the Mafia shutting Jomtien and very little competition from Sunee. However, Boyztown were making quite an effort, with a show in the soi. Also, competitive drink prices. My beer even tasted fresh and was recently bottled. (In comparison, there was one recent instance of a beer with an unexpected taste and upon closer investigation, it had a bottling date of 28-01-2020. In view of enforced bar closures, I let the matter go) Quote

Travellerdave Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Good to see that Boyztown business’ have not given up trying to keep things alive. COVID has gone on a lot longer than anyone envisaged in early 2020 when I made my last trip to Pattaya. I’m just hoping that the situation will improve in 2022 allowing making a visit by me and other gay tourists feasible, when their efforts will be rewarded by the resumption of buoyant trade. Hi I'm already back home, left Thailand on 29th at midnight. Happy to report that Berliner Cafe somehow survived and was opened when I was in Pattaya last month. Alt Heidelberg unfortunately shut down but looked that it was just temporary. One day we'll dine there again. Quote
