Many videos are available on the history of Patpong but the latest entry includes up-to-date stuff I found of interest. Sadly, it reports that Madrid has closed, although it doesn't say if it's temporary or permanent (hoping very much for the latter).

From passing by many times nothing at Madrid door would be suggesting permanent closure so hope is there. I,m monitoring situation closely
