Patpong and Soi 4 Restaurants

Readers are reminded that bars and entertainment venues are closed, or at least that's my understanding. Restaurants may open.

I'd already met someone earlier in the evening, so wasn't looking for another boy for the night.

Gogo Restaurants
Dream Boys.  Open.  Two fully clothed lads on stage.  I did not enter, as even at the best of times, it's not what I look for and as far as I'm concerned, the unwritten contract is my 400 baht drink is to pay for near naked entertainment on stage.  I'm more of Fresh Boys customer.
Fresh Boys. Light on, door open, one lady (?) sat inside and lots of junk on the stage.  Closed.
Screw Boys,  Lucky Boys (or whatever it is called) and Jupiter, closed.

One beer bar open and hardly anything else on Patpong was open.

Other Restaurants Soi 4

Pride, Balcony and Circus (formerly Telephone) all busy.  Plus a couple of other bars.
Only seats at the ends of the bars were free, so I picked one at Circus and after browsing the restaurant menu, I decided the meal would be Singha.
Despite the demise of the "Telephone" brand, every bar is now a Telephone bar, as people eye up each other across the soi and look for them on the phone apps.   One very hot lad made it rather easy, by wearing exactly the same outfit as on his Hornet profile.
 The new restaurant owner has the Telephone premises, but not the brand, as explained on Sawatdee.
Being a new business, Circus has only a Restaurant sign above the door.  Balcony has the Pub and Karaoke signs covered, so we know it is a Restaurant.

Serving of "meals" may have continued beyond 21:30.  At 21:45, there was talk of an Army check, so bills were settled and the now empty evidence of my 3 course "meal" was removed.

Apologies for the photo quality.  There are limits to what I can do with a Korean phone in poor light.

how you take it? raw or well done ?

Photo may be of poor quality but certainly guys there are not.

From what you say and show it looks I may start liking soi 4, who would think? World is really changing, LOL

A week ago the door was open and a woman inside. I asked if it is open but she said no.  Nevertheless I had the suspicion there might be something in the air. I guess there will be more gogo restaurants coming soon...

Having now tried both sides of Soi 4, it must be noted that my wallet liked the experience on the Circus side better.  Same Singha beer, similar "restaurant" experience, but one was 62% more expensive than the other.
