Arriving in Thailand

I just stayed at Siri Sathorn too and encountered the same noise problem with the adjacent room.  A rousing rendition of happy birthday at 3.30am kept me awake for the next hour. 

Still the rooms are spacious and good value at the moment.

I forgot to mention Bangkok Drugstore. 

Someone mentioned their online deliver service on one of the forums.  As can be seen from their website, they have a range of products with no "farang pricing" as is often seen in Bangkok and Pattaya.

Well, they also have physical stores, including one on Sala Daeng 1.  My transaction cost half what certain nearby pharmacies quote.
