GPAPA Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 For the people who are worried about passing vaccination certificate as I did. When I submitted my vaccination card I was prepared for it to get rejected and planning on having a signed international certificate to re-apply the Thailand Pass. My application went in for 5 days since Nov 1st with no updates. And today (interestingly enough on a Sunday midnight) I just got approved. vinapu, t0oL1 and reader 3 Quote
GPAPA Posted November 7, 2021 Author Posted November 7, 2021 If the official claims U.S as one of the "low risk" countries I think they'll adjust whatever rules possible to let tourists from U.S in. t0oL1 1 Quote
reader Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Judging by this post on Richard Barrow's Twitter site today, US applicants appear to be having their CDC vaccination card processed without too much difficulty. Top 10 nationalities that travelled to Thailand since the re-opening: 1 USA 2,465 2 Germany 2,334 3 United Kingdom 1,376 4 Japan 1,258 5 South Korea 906 6 Russia 905 7 Switzerland 838 8 Sweden, 724 9 France 695 10 United Arab Emirates 542 Quote

COE was approved by the embassies, Thailand Pass is not. So I wouldnt draw any conclusions regarding Thailand Pass on basis of this data. vinapu 1 Quote
Members daydreamer Posted November 8, 2021 Members Posted November 8, 2021 I read yesterday that it is taking several days for approval of the Thailand Pass (at least 3 days) if a QR code is not submitted for the vaccination card. As the US does not routinely issue QR codes when receiving the vaccine, the timeline of 5 days for approval for @GPAPA sounds about right. The item I read said it takes longer if the copy of the vaccination card is received without a QR code, as the Thailand Pass people will then verify the vaccination record. I can't provide a link. I don't remember where I saw it since I have read so many articles and websites about the entry requirements in the past 10 days. GPAPA 1 Quote
