Guest Astrrro Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 In their monthly newsletter, Stewart announced that 2 Guys Guesthouse has been sold. It is still gay owned and operated and all existing reservations honored. 2 Guys is extremely affordable lodging. Good place to learn about the best bars, restaurants, banking issues etc., the real world version of Gay Thailand Forums. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks to Stewart and Cho and best of luck with the country resort! Quote
atri1666 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I stay there in 5 weeks ( i hope so because already paid). Quote

PattayaMale Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I understand that John B will be the new owner and that one of the current waiters from Oud's will be a manager. John had a guest house before on Soi Buako so has experience. Good luck! Quote

Twoguys Guest House January 31, 2009 Hi Guys, We would like to advise you all that Cho and I have sold Twoguys Guest House. Our plans are to finish building our house in Nakhon Phanom then start to build our country resort. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past 2 years. We have enjoyed our time with the Guest House and have made many friends, now its time to move on. The New Owners name is John Bryne. John has been in business for many years in Pattaya, in fact you may have already met John around the Sunee bars. I’m sure you will enjoy his hospitality. Any bookings that you have made are secure. If you have any quires then please email John @ twoguysguesthouse@hotmail.com Stewart & Cho. Quote
Guest MonkeySee Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I wish Stewart and Cho all the best in Nakhon Phanom. I am sure John Bryne will keep Two Guys Guesthouse up to the previous high standards. Good luck to you John on your new business. Quote
Guest topjohn5 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Just a note: Stewart and Cho will be missed absolutely...... I spent two stints at the Twoguys (10 day and 9 days) on my recent trip that ended on the 24th of January and enjoyed all my chats with Stewart very much as well as meeting other guests. I did meet the new owner and he seems like a reasonable guy......things will change as they always do with a new personality and that is not always bad.....just different. I just hope John realizes that most of us did not go to TwoGuys for the beautiful room, lol. In my opinion the best thing about TwoGuys is the interaction with the other guests and the staff PLUS the price and location. If he doesn't screw that "feeling" up (or try and make it fancy and raise the prices) then he will be a great success. P.S. Aek will stay on at TwoGuys!!! (the only hold-over of staff) Quote

Guest Astrrro Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 P.S. Aek will stay on at TwoGuys!!! (the only hold-over of staff) He's very nice as well as good looking! Yes it's the "feeling" that differentiates 2 Guys as the rooms are exactly the same as the Kingfisher next door. I stayed there the first few nights before I found my permanent lodging and found out lots of useful info from chatting to other guests and the regulars who would drop by for brekkie. Specifically I found out that Kasikorn was an easy bank in which to open an account and when asking my retirement visa questions I was advised to check out GayButton's article. I was staying with my teerak but I'm sure I could have been pointed in the right direction to find cute femboys if I needed that info. Quote
