Silom bars

Happy June 1st! Hoping for lots of mini-reports later tonight and tomorrow about any changes as a result of the lifting of the entertainment ban.

I spend 2 days in bangkok last week, and was able to sample 4 of the clubs. (too bad, you can only go to 2 per night for the shows.) Me and my friends went to Tawan the first night, show start about 10:30, it is a very small club,  the muscle boys are too strong to my taste lol, then we went to Fresh boys. The second night I went alone to hot male and dreamboys. I think out of the four, fresh boys is probable the best. Too bad I only have 2 nights, otherwise I would definitely check out Jupiter (impressed by their facebook video), new twilight, and fake club and 76 garage, lol.

Which bar have the more handsome face based on your visit? 

In last visit, only freshboy bar BC show with full nudity, other bar wearing underwear not dare to show all

You probably should. Pretty decent shows, nice parades of slim fit guys.

I was there last Thursday. The towel dance some members talked about was back  No fucking show, thank God. Boys were in underwear in the pre-show parade (at 10h30) and back to jeans during the mid-show one (at 11h00). Drink was 400B.

Anyway, I found the guys in Jupiter more "model-like" than those in Moonlight. Well-toned, flat stomach, lean but ripped body, nice height/size ratio. Some Moonlight "so-called" models are simply big, or worse, short and big, with some muscle groups over-trained while others under-, fat popping up here and there, especially around the belly area.

I think you mean the Moonlight ordinary guys. The Moonlight models are a select few only.

I wouldn't know the regular guys as I had been to Moonlight only once. I judge from watching their videos of featured models and my comments only apply to some of them. Here is a screenshot of Nicky from a video. I wouldn't call him muscular.

Can you  off the actual Moonlight models? Or only the floor models?

For anyone who has been recently, can you verify that these are the currently open gogos in the Silom area? Any I am forgetting?

Could it be that after three years and gyms closed for the better part of those years due to Covid, he's no longer the same Nicky you touched?

One guy I recently offed in Moonlight doesn't think Nicky is muscular too. He didn't call him fat but said something along that line. The guy I offed is the most muscular/ripped floor boy in Moonlight and he's from Chiang Mai so most Moonlight patrons here would probably know who I am talking about.

 

First time I saw Nicky was last January, back when Moonlight models were still in Hotmale. I remember saying "God, I love Bangkok" the first time I saw him shirtless and in jeans lip-synching a chinese song. He def could pass as a local celebrity, imo. Not sure if this still holds true but my mamasan friend in hotmale told me I can off him for 1000 bar fine and 5000 tip but I may be disappointed with the length, if you know what I mean. 

 

If anyone here had off him, I'd be very interested to hear the field report.

There are several posts about Nicky in the Forum  Search with Moonlight and Nicky.   Need to go back  pre Covid dates.  Good to be with, expensive tastes, car crash...worth a deep dive.  He was definitely offable.  Moonlight pricing for its stars is the same as in 2019 when I last enjoyed time with one.

yes you can like Barrack Obama used to say but off fee is 1000 baht, twice as much as   for l floor guys and tip expectancy may be in 3000 or more area for short time .

I think floor  guy Alek, the Myanmarese is the best built guy in that bar . You will recognize him immediately even if you never saw him before as he stands out.

If you mean me am not  sure about me being esteemed but indeed I offed , indeed twice,  Nicky based on your impressions. Yes then he was muscular then, pleasant  to be with  but with expensive taste  as somebody mentioned. I was dragged by him to same upscale  club in Thong Lor area, asked to fill  his gas tank on the way so while time with him in the room was nice was shortened by those antics and very costly . When he repeated attempt next time I offed him few days later I played along again but that cured me from him for good.

On my last , just finished trip I did not see him on the stage but he appeared  as visitor on one of days I was there

Chances are , he did not want. Models at 1000 off fee and presumably expecting higher tip than floor boys are not offed that often

Also, models will be used for their social media and ads posting. Some guys prefer to be in the DL.

Tonight, after parting with a boy, I sampled two more go-go bars, Hotmale in Patpong 2 and Banana Room in Silom 4. That means so far I have tried every go-go bar in Silom (Moonlight being the exception) during this trip.

Hotmale (400B for soft drink) has a decent selection of boys (about a dozen) but their home-made shows appeared to be customer-repellent  At the beginning of the show (around 10h45), there were 5 groups of customers, who then took turns to leave, one by one. After 4 performances, I was the only one left and they hadn't even moved to the f*cking show yet. I then decided to leave too (it was too uncomfortable for me to stay) and the show ended just like that

I then moved on to Banana Room at 11h25. There was also a show going on, a drag lipsync, then the big cock show with only two participants. Then shows ended and all the remaining boys came back on stage (6 of them). 350B for soft drink, 350B for boy drink, 500B bar fine, 2000B for boy ST, the usual deal. Bar closed a few minutes past mid-night.

Banana Room is the third bar I visited where boys were in underwear the whole time (the other two are Tawan and Winner Boy in Pattaya)

I would be interested to know a bit more about how the difference between floor guys and models plays out in the bar.

Do the floor guys never get on stage at all?

And what is the difference between a floor guy and a waiter?

models have their own presentation times when they are introduced by name, when presentation is over floor boys i.e. regular go-gos are  rotating , recently by two,  on the stage . Their names are not introduced , they wear numbers. If they don't it means they are not available for an off usually because they are already reserved

Off fee for floor boys is 500 , for models 1000. Expected tip will be similarly differentiated, for short time  floor boy may look for 2000-2500 , model 3000 all the way to 5000

waiters are not presenting themselves on the stage  but are, like waiters everywhere circulating among customers fully dressed , delivering drinks and collecting payments.

Thanks for the update, was it banana boys bar (upstairs) on soi 4? I think i recall that bar was split in two with an upstairs and downstairs.

I hadn't heard that it has opened again, but I enjoyed that bar in 2019 because it had quite a few twinkier guys back then.
