Another weekend of sex sex and more sex. So the hubby and I decide to take ANOTHER, YES ANOTHER trip to the DR. Hes told me many times how much he prefers the DR over Rio.

This is a question for BlkSuperman ... and please forgive me if you have previously covered this question.  We are interested in making the trip to the DR.  From what you have written and what I have been able to read on the internet it would seem that the best place to stay would be in what is called the Colonial Zone.  My assumption is that most of the young men come to you rather than your going to their place.  I assume that the larger hotels would be unhappy if you were to bring in "guests."  Is that a good or bad assumption?  Are there specific hotels that you have found that have a "guest friendly" reputation?  In Cuba and in Brazil there are a few "sex hotels" where you go for an hour or two but not to stay overnight.  Do you know if there are sex hotels in the DR?  We would prefer to stay in an area that is safe to walk.  As an aside, if I were to travel to Mexico City then I would NOT drink the water.  Can you tell me if water/ice is drinkable in the DR .... or would you suggest buying bottled water for brushing teeth, etc.  I would like to end with my appreciation for having provided so much information in the past ... that information is appreciated.  Thanks!

Hello @Actionforyou, I hope all is well with you. We have never ever gone to any guys house to for sex and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone. Manny brings them to us at our apartment.  There is a hotel in the colonial zone, Boutique hotel Palacio, and they allow guests for free.

Its a standard hotel room and when we first started going to the DR we stayed there everytime. It was nice. The rooms are clean, but when someone told me about airbnb, it opened up a whole new world of traveling for us because we started renting homes and apartments with washers, dryers and a lot of other amenities. 

We don't ever drink the water from the faucet. When brushing our teeth we also use bottle water.  We keep a  bottle in the bathroom for that sole purpose. At restaurants they always bring your water in a bottle with a glass of ice. We've never had an issue with the ice. Hell, I even chew the ice while eating. 

If this is your first time going and you are nervous, I'd recommend the hotel I mentioned. They have security and that might give you piece of mind.

Trust me, I understand your trepidations.  I had them as well. I would also recommend you linking with Manny for guys. He knows them all and they will get into some pretty wild SHYT if that's your flavor. 

MANNY is well known around the DR. he can serve as your airport transfer, tour guide, sex scheduler, body guard and a whole lot more. He is VERY WELL CONNECTED in the DR.

There are lots, including several right near Paco's and the main pedestrian street. Any working guy would know one, but they are far from luxurious. There are also "cabanas", very similar to the "motels" in Brazil and other establishments in Latin America for couples to have some alone time away from the families they usually live with. If you mean in the sex context, this has been discussed but it's always a favorite topic and of course, very subjective.

Brazil has more selection, more full service, more racial variety from black to milky-skinned Southern Europeans to (a few) Teutonic blonds. ...Brazilians for damn sure.  The Brazilians whom I've met over the years seemed to be less reserved vs the Dominicans I saw and somewhat met while in SD.
