Guest stef Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Not sure about this but does Everyone who uses " Yaba " does smoke normal cigarette ? I am so naif with drugs of any sorts, and not really sure where this does stand. I mean , would I be safe with a kid who doesn't smoke cigarettes ? or this doesn't mean anything. I grew up in a farm and the only thing I could ever think to smoke was the Cow's crap as there were so much of it.....couldn't stand it.. Never had that temptation of anything as I grew up in differents circumstances... Never went out to parties with friends.. and stuff like that.. so today I still wonder a lot of things about drugs... I was in a relation with a guy for few years back in the States , who got addicted to Christal meth. I unfortunately saw what it could do a person and what results it could brings to a relation and all... so did let this away from my life very fast.. Does yaba is the same as Christal meth ( Tina I believe it is also called ) ? Do you smoke it ? Do you smell it ? Eat it ? I have no clue... What are you experiences ? Were you involved with boys who were addicted to it ? what happened and what did you do ? Quote
Guest freeyourmind Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Reference YABA If you GOOGLE it, you will find more than you ever want to know about yaba. I have only live here for 5 years, but the signs of a person who may use yaba that I have seen are.... Blood shot eyes Elevated B/P (blood pressure) and heart rate Veins showing (popping up) in the arm area more than normal Their body will change from being cool to being warm and back and forth within a few minutes They are annoyed quickly and can be violent at the smallest conflicts or discussions They tend to be confused with normal (whatever that is) conversations. Because they show a couple of these signs doesn't mean anything, could be drunk. just finished a workout, just finished snow sking, have some anger management issues or just coming off a heartbreak. Many people (including myself) have a hard time just talking with others nicely let alone factoring in alcohol or lack of sleep. If the person has all of these signs and isn't suffering from a hangover and has had plenty of sleep, then I would venture to say that they may have used yaba in the recent past....within a few days. But nothing is for sure with drugs unless you can test the urine. From what I have been told, Yaba is sold in Thailand in candy flavored tabs and is sometimes smoked....but not 100% sure about the various ways to injest it. From what I read on Google, it is crystal meth and a caffine mix. Often used by truck drivers, taxi drivers and nightlife personal to stay awake for days on end. Nasty stuff for sure and expensive for Thais at 300-400 baht a pop. The above is only my opinion. please don't get your panties in a knot over my silly opinions. Thank you Quote
Guest catawampuscat Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Since yaabaa kills ones appetite for food, yaabaa addicts are usually quiet thin and often bony..I also think all their money goes for the drug and food is secondary..I have heard yaabaa also makes some looser about sex and some addicts become very animated during sex and safety becomes secondary.. Many of the boys have tried it but the addicts tend to hang out together and the drug becomes the focus of their existence...very sad and I don't think their are Betty Ford Clinics or rehab centers like in the west... Guest Hedda Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 The preferred and most frequent way to take Yaba is to heat it on a piece of silver foil and inhale it as it evaporates. It gives an almosgt instant effect inhaled through the lungs. If you find pieces of silver foil and a lighter on someone, chances are he is inhaling Yaba. Im my experience, most Yaba addicts are also cigarette smokers, who use fags and their nicotine as a fix in between Yaba hits. As noted above, guys with a real habit tend to be thin because it suppresses appetite and they tend to spend available cash on YABA, not food. But many addicts with a "manageable" habit can look and act quite normal. One of the things to watch for is whether he always needs to get away for a few hours, which is usually his time to find a dealer, buy a hit and get high. YABA users also tend to lose track of time, and maybe a guy who is always late or totally undependable for appointments may be lost in some YABA high, oblivious to time. I have never seen any actual stats, but I suspect that a high proportion of YABA addicts also practice unsafe sex, either because they lose their caution while high among other thais, or they need extra cash to service their habit and will bareback for the extra money it can bring. In my opinion, if you find yourself involved with a YABA addict, you should run, not walk, to the nearest exit. Quote
