reader Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 From Thai Enquirer / Bangkok Post Popular adult content creator and OnlyFans model known as Kainaoa (“rotten egg”) and her boyfriend were arrested in Samut Prakan Monday for allegedly violating decency laws by sharing sexual content on the subscription-based service. According to police, Kainaoa, 19, and her boyfriend, 20, have violated two criminal laws by sharing what they consider to be “obscene” images on the website, and for allegedly enticing others to engage in sexual activity for financial gain. Police said they would not take legal action against the owner of the website, which only allowed creators to share content. The arrests were the result of the website being abused by content creators. Thai netizens have called out the state for double standards and abuse of power, and indicated their support for the young woman and her boyfriend. Additionally, netizens are using the hashtag #น้องไข่เน่า on social media to highlight how sexual work still carries a severe stigma in Thailand and is prosecuted over real crimes like corruption and murder. “Her body, her choice,” one Twitter user wrote. “So I live in a country that criminalizes and arrests people for filming their sexual content online to make money, but not those who commit real corruption and actual murders,” another user fired. “Other countries [in the world] even make porn as their main income. Are you [the government] still claiming for the validity of your morals here?” The content creator and her boyfriend are alleged to have earned “millions” of baht through sharing their content on OnlyFans, which has drawn many subscribers and viewers. On her YouTube channel, Kainaoa, or Tawan, spoke to her fans about her journey towards her newfound fame and popularity, emphasizing that she wanted the Thai law to recognize sex work as a legitimate industry and a means of making money for those who freely desire it. The 19-year-old admitted that she has constantly been harassed by both state officials and private individuals for being so open about sharing such content online in a conservative country like Thailand, and said that she wanted to normalize sexual activity and sex work. Kainaoa and her boyfriend were subsequently called into the police station over the weekend for questioning about their allegedly “illegal” activities online, in which she reportedly admitted to her actions. According to the police, the couple would be persecuted. The Thai Royal Police warned Monday that those involved in releasing “obscene” content online in Thailand will undergo scrutiny and face up to 60,000 baht in fines or up to three years in prison if found guilty. The same day, Kainaoa, announced that she was going to quit the platform due to “police pressure.” On Monday night, Kainaoa and her boyfriend were arrested. https://www.thaienquirer.com/32975/onlyfans-star-arrested-over-explicit-web-videos/ https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2185363/young-couple-arrested-for-online-sex-show GWMinUS, TotallyOz, Lonnie and 1 other 2 2 Quote

Well he can prosecute quite a few of us for writing about the continuing disappearance over so many years of the Red Bull heir for murdering one of his own cops own by mowing him down whilst speeding around 200kph on Sukhumvit with alcohol and drugs in his system and then fleeing justice. Start charging real criminals, Pol. Lt. Gen., before you go after those who offend your sense of morality. And you can put me in jail for a night for saying that, if you wish. Members Lonnie Posted September 23, 2021 Members Posted September 23, 2021 NEWS, CRIME Arrest of Thai OnlyFans porn couple sparks online fury By Coconuts Bangkok Sep 21, 2021 | 1:22pm Bangkok time More: The internet was at its wits end today after the same Thai police who shield murderers in their ranks, shoot protesters and take an apathetic view of sexual violence swooped in to arrest an OnlyFans creator and her boyfriend. Furious condemnations poured in online over last night’s arrest of Sukanya, a 19-year-old woman better known as Kai Nao, and her 20-year-old boyfriend Korakot at a hotel in southeast metro Bangkok. They were charged with producing and distributing “obscene” content, according to Maj. Gen. Karnpong Chairungrueng of Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau. “Such a dramatic show of Thai police. What do Thai people benefit from this?” tweeted activist Tanawat “Ball” Wongchai this morning. “The couple only made some sexual content on OnlyFans, they didn’t kill anyone. How about other rape cases? Have police caught the rapists yet? Come on, Thai police, let’s be serious.” If convicted, they face up to three years in prison and a THB60,000 (US$1,800) fine. People condemned the police for making a big deal of pornography instead of prosecuting more serious crimes. “Here I am in a country that sees filming sex for a certain group of people as a crime,” Jellyyours tweeted. “But those who commit corruption and attempt murder can get away with it.” #NongKaiNao has been trending atop Thai Twitter since this morning. It was only yesterday that Col. Siriwat Deepor, spokesman for the Royal Thai Police, came out to warn the public that people who identify themselves as “Pornhubbers” or “sex creators” would face a stiff penalty for persuading others to engage in sexual activity and violating the Computer Crime Act, which has become a sweeping, catch-all law used to prosecute everyone doing things the state doesn’t like. Originally used primarily by Western creators, London-based OnlyFans was adopted by people worldwide, especially as the pandemic erupted last year. It allows people to sell subscriptions to their content; and by content, we’re mostly talking sex videos. Just last month, OnlyFans quickly backtracked from plans to ban sexually explicit content after everyone lost their minds over the decision. PeterRS, Ruthrieston and reader 2 1 Quote
reader Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 From The Thaiger / Pattaya News Police warn against OnlyFans creators dressing as sexy police After police arrested a popular Thai OnlyFans creator a few days ago and subsequently warned the people of Thailand that posting explicit content on OnlyFans or similar sites is illegal in Thailand, the Royal Thai Police have issued an additional warning for a specific subset of adult content creators they intend to crack down on. The police threatened that they are seeking out those who use sexy police uniforms or similar in their content. The Royal Thai Police call much of the content created on OnlyFans obscene and pornographic. The popular site where users can create pay per view accounts for their fans to purchase content such as workouts or cooking videos was quickly adopted as a convenient way to make and sell adult explicit materials for amateurs. But now the deputy spokesman for the Royal Thai Police issued a warning specifying that cosplay involving dressing in the uniform of the police, the Thai Army, or any other similar uniform violates Thai law and could cost those who don these costumes substantial fines and possibly jail time. The deputy spokesman said that those who dress in these sexy versions of the uniforms on their OnlyFans account would be violating both the Police Act B.E. 2547 for impersonating an officer and the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560 for posting the images online. The Royal Thai Police say that they have found Thai accounts already that depicted girls dressed as sexy police officers and were already investigating them and wanted to warn the public that this is a crime. https://thethaiger.com/news/national/police-warn-against-onlyfans-creators-dressing-as-sexy-police Lonnie and Ruthrieston 2 Quote

reader Posted October 15, 2021 Author Posted October 15, 2021 Although there's no reported connection between this arrest and "Only Fans," this seems like the appropriate thread to post it under. With jobs still hard to come by in the entertainment sector, why such victim-less acts are so vigorously pursued remains a mystery. Transgender live-streamed sex with boyfriend to subscribers From Bangkok Post Crime Suppression Division police have arrested a transgender woman in Tak for allegedly live-streaming sex with her boyfriend to paying subscribers in a Line group. Karnklao Klomkan, 30, known as Nong Phrai, was detained while walking along a dirt road in Sam Ngao district of Tak on Thursday, Pol Maj Gen Montri Khetkhan, CSD commander, said on Friday. The suspect was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the Criminal Court on Aug 2 for putting pornography into a computer system for commercial purpose or distribution, producing pornography, and related charges. The arrest followed a complaint that a website was encouraging people to join an online group that featured sexual shows. Interested people were directed to pay a subscription to view the shows via a Line group. The shows featured live sexual acts by a couple at various locations, the CSD chief said. Investigators identified one of the people in the shows. Karnklao was also wanted on an arrest warrant issued by Wang Thong Lang police in Bangkok for similar offences. The suspect lived in Sam Ngao district. During questioning, Karnklao allegedly admitted the offences. The man in the videos was her boyfriend, the suspect said. The suspect said they started streaming live sex last year. The subscription rate was 700 baht per person and many people had joined the Line group. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2198463/transgender-live-streamed-sex-with-boyfriend-to-subscribers Lonnie 1 Quote

reader Posted April 7, 2022 Author Posted April 7, 2022 From The Thaiger Police arrest Thai OnlyFans star making ฿100K per month Police arrested a trans woman known as ‘Dreamy Dao’ for producing and disseminating pornographic content in the northeastern province of Khon Kaen on Tuesday. Dreamy Dao was making 100,000 baht every month by posting explicit content on the OnlyFans website. Khon Kaen police raided 20 year old Dreamy Dao’s room to find a large number of pornographic videos and 17 other items including filming equipment and props used in the production of explicit content. The police obtained an arrest warrant from Khon Kaen Provincial court on April 4 after a crime investigation unit discovered a Twitter page which Dreamy Dao used to advertise the explicit content. Police subscribed to the Twitter page “to collect evidence”. Dreamy Dao was arrested for making, producing, possessing and disseminating obscene pornographic content which is accessible to the general public. The OnlyFans star used a Twitter page with 120,110 followers and a Line group to advertise her OnlyFans content. Subscribers could pay a monthly subscription fee of 234 baht or a lifetime subscription fee of 590 baht to gain access to her pictures and videos. Dreamy’s content attracted 430 members in total. Dreamy Dao posted one pornographic clip every day. Dreamy Dao was studying at a vocational college in Roi Et province, but wasn’t studying on campus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so moved to Khon Kaen to look for friends and make an income. Dreamy Dao chose to make a living through OnlyFans, and made an impressive 100,000 baht per month. Dreamy Dao told police there was no one else involved in the operation. Police believe there are more people involved and said they will investigate further. Thai police began cracking down on OnlyFans content creators last year. Well-known creator Nong Khai Nao (Miss Bad Egg), who raked in one billion baht in a three month period, was arrested with her boyfriend last September. Whether posting explicit content should be illegal or not is a dividing issue in Thai society. The liberal argument is that OnlyFans creators can choose what kind content they post, can choose the price, and can do it from the safety of their homes. Netizens have criticised police for the crackdown and say they should be fighting ‘real crime’. Chief of the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau Kanchai Khlaikhlueng compared arresting OnlyFans creators to killing a chicken in front of monkeys – a Thai saying which means punishing someone in order to deter others from doing the same. Kanchai wants to continue making an example out of OnlyFans creators to “uphold the good morale of Thailand”, he said. Quote
Ruthrieston Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 If the Boys in Brown are there to "uphold the good morale of Thailand" then the country is doomed. If it wasn't so sad I would be laughing. vinapu 1 Quote
PeterRS Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 There is sadly nothing new in these unfortunate episodes. In the UK homosexuals and those allegedly breaching public morality were routinely hounded and prosecuted whilst the great and the good got away scot free while indulging in the same habits. Need one mention Jeremy Thorpe, the Leader of the Liberal party who was an out and out homosexual, and Lord Boothby who, not only having an affair with the wife of Prime Minister Harold MacMillan, also indulged in homosexual parties. The rich always look after themselves. Look at the Red Bull heir who murdered the traffic policemen while driving in his Ferrari around 200kph down Sukhumvit at 5:00 am with alcohol and drugs in his system. The government tell us it has been trying to find this low life for close on 10 years. Even though he has been spotted several times in this country and overseas, somehow the powers that be are and remain totally blind. One wonders how much cash has been transferred to various bank accounts to ensure that this remains the case. Quote
Guest Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 The Thai police have also arrested people producing heterosexual videos, so I'm not aware of a homophobic angle to this. Although, if someone has been following all such activity and would like to enlighten me with some stats, I shall certainly read it. I totally agree that they shouldn't be infringing on people's liberty in this way, when there are bigger murder and corruption issues to go after. Quote
