Guest Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Am fairly sure my spending on hotels, food, coffee, beer and various unspecified services is far better for the Thai economy than "super rich" spending it on luxury goods, most of which aren't made in Thailand. The "rich" spending it on fancy hotels, good restaurants etc probably is helpful. Incidentally, not all rich people throw money around. There are stories of the founder of Ikea always flying economy & other billionaires grudgingly opening the wallet to buy themselves a Kia car, back in the days when Kias were really low end. Quote

Boy69 Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Rich tourism is a very small niche only the mass tourism can revive the Thai economy. 1 hour ago, gerefan said: At the moment Thailand needs ALL the tourists it can muster. Not just the rich reader and vinapu 2 Quote
