Expanding My Horizons In Santo Domingo

My visits have been limited to the Colonial Zone and after seeing this expanded view of the city with the somewhat irritating South African Kurt Caz I find that on my next visit I want to see more of the city.

RD is always in my list, however I find it less affordable compared against Brazil or Colombia. Flight tickets are relatively ridiculously expensive.

Additionally, all the stories I heard are about a Paradise for bottom visitors. I am still waiting for a top praising the glories of Dominican bottoms.

I'm versatile depending on the guy I'm with but I find it's just easier to go with the flow and enjoy the bottom role in the DR.... Which if the top knows what he's doing can be an ethereal experience...if the top role is available I'll relish that with equal enthusiasm (alas it rarely is). You've never bottomed Latbear4blk ?

I did, several times when I was still finding out what I was into. The last time was about 18 years ago, and that last one was only because without me bottoming, I was not topping an extraordinary African God I picked up on 17th St after Cobalt night.

I never enjoyed it. Although I always keep my options open and do believe that we can always learn more about ourselves and change no matter our age, I do not feel the desire to bottom and I have no fantasies about it. I am not proud or ashamed, but of course I would love to be versatile as the possibilities for Joy would multiply.

Anyways, as I am aging my erection is not always reliable. Beyond viagra, perhaps I should start switching to describing myself as a dominant oral lover, so I do not disappoint anyone.

I've visited Santo Domingo once but yearn to return after some semblance of normalcy has occurred in the world.  When I was there, I used taxis to get around, but I had NO desire to go to the area that was suppose to be the worst part of the city.  I feel for the poor, but I have no desire to witness their life as experienced on a daily basis.  

One dayI visited a principal market and was deluged by almost every vendor who had a shop.  Their unusual bombardment onto me acutely lessened my interest in any of their wares/offerings.  I returned to the Zona Colonial and made a few purchases: a sculpted wood turtle and some Cuban cigars.  Because of my physical looks, I was taken as a native.  Both the sales person and I had a good laugh about this.

Whenever I do return to the DR and to Santo Domingo-- I, more than likely, will take those cable cars but with a local.  I'll get my overview merely from the air.

[While in Rio I took two tours to the favelas but with companies that had established them, one being the originator of favela tours that have the same surname as I.]

Not really. There is something in the way they drag the vowels and seem to take their time always, but I am not sure whether that is what triggers the effect.

He appears to speak Spanish but they clearly say there is no chicken. They tell him beef, he still thinks it's some sort of Jamaican like jerk chicken. Somehow I doubt his fluency.

I've seen other videos from him in Colombia. In one, he was approached by two young guys and spend some time with them. I'm still wondering what their intention was. Maybe it's my wicked mind and those guys were just interested to chat with a foreigner. They did show him a street where they sold porn though

My barber is from DR, I showed him the video yesterday, is not the most dangerous hood....he said the places that some of the guys mentioned in the video are dangerous, not where he went. He said that phone would've been ripped out of his hands, at the minimum,  in the other places.

I stayed in a beach town just outside Santo Domingo and took a local bus into town one day. I was struck at how kind the younger men were to the elderly ladies, helping them with their belongings, giving up their seats to them, making sure the driver let them off at their stops. Eventually there was just me and the driver and the conductor on the bus and they started mocking me in Spanish talking about me being gay. How little did they know. I never tried to find a guy for sex. The town I was in had lots of pimps and female sex workers. The desk clerk at the hotel even asked me if I wanted a woman when I checked in. I didn't ask if any guys were available. But there were local guys staying with some of the European women.
