Egypt trip report 2020

haha, i dont think wearing a t-shirt saying not married would be a great idea!

my 2 key pieces of advice are, 1 - don't openly advertise that you are gay, its ok when you are alone with a local, but never in a group, and 2 - don't use Grindr, its full of scammers, robbers and guys who generally want to take as much money from you as possible.

i've had loads of rejections and some hostile replies, but every now and then you hit jackpot and things turn out well

Great experiences! I hope to be back for the month of June or July. It was especially cool that you had those experiences in Cairo which are harder to cum by than in Luxor or Aswan!

During my last trip to Luxor my fun did not come from a local.
I was staying at Steigenberger hotel which has great views over the Nile, its a nice hotel, maybe a little touristy for my tastes, but well located.
I am walking past the pool, and there are plenty of other tourists, all sitting around enjoying themselves, then I spot this bronzed god like guy, he looks to be early twenties, obviously from Europe or America, dressed in just red coloured shorts, he knows he has been blessed with fantastic looks.
I sit down by the pool with my book, but in all honesty I cant keep my eyes of him!. He looks to be there with 2 other guys, both much older, and from I can make hear, they are all speaking German.
I continue to watch him for a while until he seems to gather his towel and make his way up the steps into the hotel, I quickly grab my things and follow.
My luck was in, we both stand in front of the elevator waiting our turn, my eyes running up and down the back of the German god. We both enter and he appears to not even notice me!, I start the conversation with "its very warm today", he politely smiles, but other than agreeing with me, there is no emotion and no desire whatsoever on his part to chat with me!
The only good news from this encounter is that I find out that he is on the same floor as me!
I enter my room and switch on the A/C, enjoying the cool air and after taking a shower, I lay on the bed, and do the thing I tell most guys not to do... I open Grindr on my phone!!!!
As I scroll through the available guys most of which are obviously scammers, I stop on one picture, my heart rate starts to increase, the picture is just a body pic of a white guy, he has a fantastic body, but it was the red shorts in the pic that made me stop!, it was him, I was sure of it..
It was obvious from his profile that he was an escort, and by reading the details on his profile obviously an expensive one.
I messaged him, making sure to say how generous i was. He did not respond straight away but maybe 20 minutes later, he did.
After a few messages, I ascertained he was mostly a top but would be versatile for the right price!, time to rob an Egyptian bank I thought!!, haha,
however it turned out that whilst his rates were way more than anything a local would charge it was much less than guys in other European cities.
A further 20 minutes later and he is in my room, red shorts on the floor, as he took a shower in my bathroom.
I definitely tried to get my moneys worth, and thanked my lucky stars when he bottomed for me.
I was totally exhausted by the end of that afternoon!

Fantastic stories, thanks for sharing! I never hooked up with anyone in Egypt. Had a close encounter at a urinal in the main train station, but that was intercepted by local police who grilled me for a few minutes. Scary stuff, but I just played the dumb tourist and pretended I had no idea what they were asking me. It took a little convincing but they ultimately let me go, cautioning that I need to avoid dangerous situations like this in the future. Needless to say I did just that!

You've def taken some big risks, given how common homophobic attacks and arrests are in Egypt, but I'm impressed with your results!

You are very correct pylonguy71. I have taken some big risks, and if I am totally honest, sometimes I look back at what I have done and think the amount of risk was just foolish, but something inside sometimes makes me take these risks! The episode with the 2 guys in Aswan for example made me reflect what danger I could have easily been in, and for a few days I refrained from doing anything similar, but just like a drug, I go back to my old ways, and the adventure in life continues.

As I mentioned previously not everything has turned out how I would have liked, and I have had plenty of refusals, plenty of hostile reactions and plenty of wasted money,  but visiting North African countries would not be the adventure it is, with out these experiences. These are just some of the encounters I had in Egypt, but I have also visited Tunisia, Morocco, and Israel and all have there own unique flavour in lives great adventure.

Thanks for sharing @traveller312

Do you think it’s something cultural in how locals react? I can appreciate that local young men are sex-starved in such a restrictive society. So it may be that getting sucked off by you does not mean they’re gay; it’s just that they’re horny and have no heterosexual outlet.

I’m a top only and I really enjoy getting sucked off to completion. Would I be left frustrated by visiting Egypt? Or do you think I would encounter ready cocksuckers in North African countries if I were generous?

Yes msclelovr i do think that part of the reaction is due to how horny these guys get without any hetrosexual outlet, but we are only talking about a very small amount of locals who would entertain being sucked.

In terms of you being a top, i think over 90% of the locals I met would have not entertained sucking guys, ,and certainly not bottomed for me. There have been a few exceptions, but mostly all locals are top only.

Of all the places I have visited, Israel and France had more guys willing to suck and bottom.

I sense that, in the Arab world as well as the Latin world, some guys consider it macho, a testament to their virility, both that they are desirable enough to be paid money and that they can get it hard, stick it into anything, and keep it hard. Plus, in the Arab world, the tradition of wealthy patrons and "young men in need of protection" goes back to the medieval and ancient eras.

I think you are pointing to a tradition much more universal than the Arab world, and much more ancient than the Middle Ages.

The kalesh drivers, and boat owners seem to have a habit of discussing internally the foreigners they dealt with as a corporate group.
After one kalesh driver found out that I liked bananas, others immediately started offering me their bananas for the same price or less, without "Luxor temple, Karnak, market, etc.".
Moreover, if at the beginning there is one and the second and the third join him later, the first will say about them that they are "one family" and that I can suck their bananas and not worry. In rare cases, it is possible that a tuk-tuk with a body with 4-5 guys will go after them.

I had my wonders about the Egyptian "tourist police." These guys barely had uniforms - stick-on badges, IIRC - or discipline. But I did not see one desirable enough for me to test it out.

In 2008 or 2010, I cannot remember the exact year, I took a Grand Circle Travel Tour to Egypt for almost two weeks.  Five days were spent traveling along the Nile on a river boat cruise/trip.  Afterwards, we returned to Cairo, and while there, one day a group of us made our way to a special shopping area or medina.  While there I ventured into a shop looking for a special good (...can't remember specifically now).  A cute and young guy assisted me.  I purchased what I wanted; he in turn gave me a nicely shaped greenish stone and stated that it was a gift to me.  I didn't quite know what to make of this, for I was extremely horny and wanted to have some nice, fairly good sized Egyptian cock.  Well, in my state of confusion as well as making certain that I caught the tour bus on time-- I did not try to analyze the situation with this guy although I was so ready and eager to suck and be fucked.

Although this occurred a while ago-- the experience still resonates with me.  Don't have plans to return to this country any time soon.  Brasil and Argentina or perhaps Thailand beckon me in 2022/2023, as Covid has wrecked havoc on life worldwide.
