Dude Club Info Wanted

Anyone know the drink prices at the Dude Club? It seems that sometimes beers can be very expensive yet a bottle for your table quite cheap.

Anyone know the best time to go?

On Saturday, January 17th there's a Miss Lucky Dude Contest, a ladyboy contest of sorts. The flyer in Thai says 23:00 but that may be when doors open and maybe it's better to go much later.

I have been to Dude a few times but always with Thai friends and they have done the ordering. But I have another question about Dude:

I have been told that the guys are available to be offed at Dude but how do you do it? I have never needed to since I've always been with Thai friends but if I went there alone how do you get their attention?

Any advice gratefully received

I am not sure if you are talking about the waiters, entertainers or the customers. The waiters are your best source of advice. They can tell you what you would like to know. They also (for a 20 baht tip) are not bashful about introducing you to a customer, or letting a customer know you would like to talk to them if you are a bit shy. Just remember that when you take a customer off from a bar like Dudes, you will not have the protection of the bar having a copy of the ID so if something of bad fortune happens you probably will need to sort it out yourself.

I know a dancer from Dude....a likable guy named Future with whom I have not had sex....and he said they off "sometimes". But he also said that for dancing there at weekends only for 1 hour a night, they are paid bht18,000 per month. That indicates to me they would expect a large tip.

That fee I imagine is for the entire group to share and still may be a bit exaggerated by Khun/Kha Future. This is not a guess on my part as I know several that entertain there very well. When most go off, the fee is the same as go-go, but they are very happy to accept more!

It seems no one is going to answer the original question and I will not break th streak because I do not know either. I drink a Singha or Heineken and they charge me something in the 140-160 baht range. By observation at least in my 2 experiences in the past month - I went there on the week-ends - past 2 AM and the place was like a ghost town - it was dead - maybe 20-30 customers - meanwhile XRAY was packed - Dave's Man Club was in between - a nice crowd but empty tables to be had. My Thai friends tell me that no one goes to Dude's anymore - it is not the "in" place it used to be. I like a place that is not super busy but Dude was depressing - so few people and low energy - maybe I went on off-nights for the club - just my 2 cents
