Members Bucknaway1614502762 Posted February 19, 2021 Members Posted February 19, 2021 WOW: Several US Cities To Brazil Business Class From $470 Roundtrip by Gary Leff on February 19, 2021 You can currently fly roundtrip business class to Brazil from $470 roundtrip. Routings to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are on American Airlines, with São Paulo about $50 more. If you want to continue to other Brazilian cities for about $20 more than that, connections beyond São Paulo can be included on American’s partner Gol. These prices are available throughout the entire year so take a bet that Covid-19 won’t pose major restrictions at the end of 2021 or even start of 2022. The lowest prices are available from all 3 New York-area airports, but for just a bit more you can depart from at least other airports in the Northeast such as Albany, Manchester, Providence, Bangor and Portland, Maine. Key details: Fare basis INN0AZN3 No stopovers Fare valid for purchases through February 25, but could be pulled earlier Non-refundable but no change fees, so you’d retain a credit for future travel if you cancel The easiest way to find the fare is to use Google flights, just change your preferred city and dates, and click through to book on the Ameircan Airlines website. AA.com allows 24 hour holds, but if they get sellers’ remorse they might not honor unticketed reservations. In December American Airlines offered a $479 business class fare to Brazil and even an ex-airline CEO couldn’t figure out if it was a mistake or on purpose suspecting that American would fly these flights anyway mostly empty so being the low cost leader in the market meant they’d generate revenue at little cost. In that case, Delta filed the fare first and American matched it to avoid losing sales. Perhaps this is just turnabout as fair play. And remember American and JetBlue just launched their Northeastern partnership with promises of big competition in that part of the country, so this could be proof of that. Still, always waiting a few days after one of these great sales to make sure the airline honors it before making any truly non-refundable ground bookings to go along with it. floridarob Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Yesterday when I read about it...I went online to book. It was like whack-a-mole. The flights were disappearing right before my eyes. I couldn't keep up, everytime I wouldpick some dates and tried to book, those dates were gone. It was the same $$ more or less from BOS & BDL, I didn't get it ...... Lucky 1 Quote
