Even then, there are limits to the information shared. One doesn't have freedom to yell "fire" in a crowded theater or to publish kiddie porn. I am more in tune with the Europeans. It is a fundamental right that should be regulated, but not by the very companies that right now have a monopoly. The case of Trump & friends is special. Although the lack of a sound regulatory frame is an issue that needs urgent attention, we could not wait for it. The assholes were using their social media to incite violence and spread falsehoods, shutting their accounts down was an urgent need, although not the ideal decision. Quote
