He was lucky to work with A+ Directors. One would have thought Malcolm McDowell was well cast in "Look Back." He wasn't. Quote

You take on interesting difficult challenges, aim at the dartboard and throw, then see what sticks, and how near the bullseye. I certainly don’t get it right anywhere near 100% of the time. Do you? Over the years, I have seen plays with actors like Henry Fonda, Barbara Bel Geddes, Many Martin, Audra McDonald, Ralph Richardson, Jason Robards, Art Carney, Pat Carroll, Julia Roberts, Glenda Jackson, Elaine Stritch, Gertrude Berg, Scott Wolf and Alan Bates. And a musical with Vivien Leigh. They all made an impression. I had to think about McDowell. It took a while to remember him. Quote
