One NYC guy who was her lighting tech on her TV show, a random personal friend I sat around and drank endlessly with. Another who is a history/poli-sci prof at Harvard. & one more. Martha is infinitely more eccentric & interesting & weird than her professional self-presentation would ever suggest.
Guest Larstrup Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 And of course....because it never gets old....
Guest WhippedGuy Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Today (9/16/2017) marks the 40th Anniversary of the death of Maria Callas in 1977. She is considered by many to be the supreme diva of the Twentieth Century. Since he is referenced by the esteemed AdamSmith a few posts above, I have chosen the conclusion of Bellini's opera La Sonnambula conducted by Lenny Bernstein in commemoration of La Divina. Notice the tumultuous applause that begins way before the piece even concludes! Now back to Gilligan's Island!

AdamSmith Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I do me believe I could live, on a desert island, with Sherwood Schwartz alone. Who needs the Bard of Avon!
