Members Lucky Posted April 11, 2020 Members Posted April 11, 2020 An animal shelter in Bangkok reports hundreds of starving dogs with little food for them. Donations to Auntie Ju's have declined, even as the need has risen. Can you help save a dog? https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/thai-dog-shelter-blames-covid-19-coronavirus-drop-in-donations-12615084 Quote
pong Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Temples are often gathering palces for streetdogs. Since then also the ELEPHANT is in search for food-they eat up to 10% of their weight per day (say 2/300 kg) of all-vegan veggies and fruits. Since tourism has collapsed, all the normal tourist shows/ridesetc have stopped. I once saw an elephant in hungry mood seizing a fruitcart that just moved by in BKK and eating the contents. Quote
