However, this is he first year that I feel involved in the industry, with some personal bonds to several players, and even friendships with a couple of guys. They all were excited about participating in the awards ceremony, and have influenced me to reevaluate the significance if these events.I say "these" because S8UP is just he first of a long series. Although I still think that the awards are meaningless, I find the celebration and the getting together to recognize each other and make a stand, full of meaning. Anyway, the thing is that fr the first time I watched an entire ceremony. Despite the fact that trying to mirror a model from mainstream industry already devaluated and in crisis, is silly and effects results often pathetic, I did had fun. I was specially surprised at how anti stereotypical many performers were, and how supportive of sexual diversity the industry seems to be.
