AlexThompson Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 I have never been to Brazil but am in awe of these photos of hot guys, with cute faces, perfect bodies, good outfits, and tiny swim trunks... What is the relationship that Brazilian men have with their appearance? Are they raised from a young age to pump iron? I am FASCINATED with their grooming/upkeep/bodies and would love to hear your thoughts! Quote
Members msclelovr Posted January 13, 2020 Members Posted January 13, 2020 I dated a Brazilian fitness model for a while some years ago, and after him a beautiful young Brazilian-Italian for some months. The fitness model, Felix, was a handsome guy with a remarkable physique; he was the cover-guy of 2 health and fitness magazines. He also came 2nd as Mr Gay Brazil. Always immaculately turned out and dedicated to maintaining his body, he was nicknamed the Gay Pamela Anderson by his friends. After sex, he always took ages to get ready and dress for us to go out for dinner. Enzo, the fashion model, had a long lean athletic body and he too always dressed well. Even when he came over for us to spend a “dirty weekend” together, he dressed ‘to kill’. His quirk was that he could easily spend 30 minutes just showering. I’m not sure where the emphasis on personal grooming and looking great comes from. Perhaps it’s an indicator in Brazil of socio-economic status (as it definitely is in Argentina)? It may also be to stand out in a nation where so many young men are aged under 30 and the market-place for male beauty is very competitive. Certainly I remember a good friend of Enzo who at the age of 22 was an enthusiast for cosmetic surgery - he was a good looking guy who worried about his musculature, and he had the biggest, most symmetrical pecs. Alas I also knew several young Brazilians who were dead before they reached 35. The lure of cheap steroids proved fatal. Riobard, Europeanman and SolaceSoul 3 Quote

All models are good looking irrespective of origin. Google Rio beach or something similar and you will see the usual ugliness. By the way an ugly man who pumps iron will still be an ugly man... Members Latbear4blk Posted January 13, 2020 Members Posted January 13, 2020 I have not noticed a specific relationship between Brazilians and esthetics. I mean, the focus on appearance shown by many people is not different than in most contemporaneous cultures. Rather than a national obsession on looks, perhaps it is the combination of a healthier diet and a physically very active lifestyle what produces so many beautiful men, besides the local particular racial mixes. I think @Europeanman may be right here, you are looking only at the hot guys. What I do notice is a different mindset about sex and joy, I like to think that Brazilian culture is epitome to Carpe Diem. This is a contrast specially noticeable if you are coming from a culture with strong Puritan influence. Quote
AlexThompson Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 I understand that i was generalizing, but wouldn't you agree that Brazilian men care more about their appearance than American men? Quote

Not really. Perhaps they even care less. As part of their mindset they have a very body positive attitude, and very little inhibitions about being naked. Confidence is sexier than Beauty. We are always in the field of raw generalizations here, but I dare to say that it is more likely to find a Brazilian who will be attracted to you not because of your looks (or your money) but because of your personality, that it is to find such an American. They do appreciate deeply Beauty, because enjoying Beauty is part of enjoying life, but it is not their axis, as Joy is. AlexThompson and AaronInDallas 2 Quote
Members davet Posted January 14, 2020 Members Posted January 14, 2020 Step away from the beaches or the saunas and Brazilians don't look any better or worse than anywhere else. You may have read that obesity has hit Brazil as hard as it's hit the U.S. and Europe. As with anywhere, the average-looking people are invisible to you! So you remember only the cocky god who steps onto the beach, takes off his office clothes, and just stands there for 15 minutes with his eyes closed - his daily minimum requirement of sun and/or being worshipped (which I certainly did and still remember). I laughed at this, thinking of the influx of all the Brazilian escorts in London. Even here my favourite boy toy is Brazilian and he is not with me because of my personality. As a good friend says, whores are the main export product of Brazil. Edited January 14, 2020 by Europeanman Quote

They would be in the USA if getting here were as easy as getting to Europe is for them. They are fuckig beautiful, and they are many. Those are all facts or very reasonable predictions. I thought you were bringing your observation to support the OP's thesis. Quote

A lot of it is genetics....some of it is diet I know a lot of Brazilians, young and old, men and women who are very into taking care of their bodies, they care about how they look to other people so they are interested in presenting themselves well.... But there are just as many unattractive, out of shape Brazilians are attractive ones... Brazilians are also mixed up so they pretty much can and do look like any and every attractive racial/ethnic group you can imagine.... Quote

As for the Brazilian escorts in London most of them look the same, too dark and too short for my taste. There are very few jaw dropping exceptions who disappear from advertised escorting quickly. pong Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Seems to be a general Brazil thing-have heard radio reports (like about special obsessions in some other faraway countries) and that was all about the females. Apparently Brazil has the highest ratio of beauty-clinics to inhabitants in the world. Agree with eur-man: those I´ve seen life were in Spain saunaś and they did not look that terrific or so, nor were the very few I spent some time with so terrific compared to other experiences. But then perhaps those who are considered too ugly in local Brazil eyes take their faith in own hand and try elsewhere. Quote

Members tassojunior Posted January 20, 2020 Members Posted January 20, 2020 (edited) I'm going to Rio tomorrow for 12 days for the first time in 20 years and suspect the population has changed. Back then Rogers Thermas had a good two dozen garotos at a time. A couple were blond and there was even a sexy redhead. The rest ran the spectrum from black to swimmer's build lighter complexion European brunettes. Edited January 20, 2020 by tassojunior Quote

I got both blonds...a huge pectoral muscle latin guy in mid 30s with perfect firm ass shaved head blue eyes and tight. Plus a Euro-looking college looking guy witty but butch but average 21 yr old soft body. A few guys had super bods. Many big hard dicks on display too. All 100R. Uber from the Marriott was 7R...under $3, for 1 km. Traffic here is unbearably slow. Slower than walking. Latbear4blk 1 Quote
